Nope. I'm certain it can hold inanimate objects, but not people even if they are sitting on inanimate objects. And Kuririn didn't ride Kinto Un by holding onto Goku. Goku rode Kinto Un and Kuririn just held onto him.
Even then it's a potential loophole, that is ripe for testing. And come on, the last part is just pedantic :P

Cell's timeline should be the original one. If we really want to take all he says and implies as fact though, even his timeline is not the original, as it apparently was Future Trunks who killed Freeza and Cold in his timeline(a claim, that seems to have been ignored in official capacity ever since and been considered a plothole by a major part of the fandom).

Maybe, but if I can't ride a unicycle, but if someone could ride one while carrying me on their shoulders, I wouldn't say that I rode a unicycle. I also wouldn't call it a loophole.

Cell's timeline was altered by Trunks because he deactivated the androids in that timeline. Which is why Cell went back to begin with

What's all the foods eaten in dragonball? I always wish I had a reference to refer too...no joke.
I like to pretend I'm vegeta or beerus when I eat ramen and such. Don't laugh....

Would the Super Spirit Bomb against Kid Buu actually "kill" Vegeta?
I seem to recall that they only wished back good people after they defeated Buu, and Vegeta was resurrected with that wish, meaning he's good (he was also able to participate in the God ritual, further proving his purity). Against Vegeta, Kid Gohan was able to deflect the Spirit Bomb because he was good-hearted. So since Vegeta was considered good, wouldn't the Super Spirit Bomb not "kill" him? Or is the "only good people" part of the wish actually just "not extremely evil people"?

I'm putting "kill" because Vegeta was already dead, but he could still become double dead and "not exist in this realm anymore", as Funi Goku put it.

Vegeta was revived before Boo died. And I always have had a problem with this "good people cannot be harmed". That was never even said in the story. A good person can deflect it easily. That is all and that is the reason why Gohan didn't have to be afraid. Which of course is pointless as apparently Freeza and Boo also had the potential to hold against it. But it means probably that a good person really can do it without any problem at all.

You cannot "alter" a timeline. At least not from a logical perspective. And that is exactly the reason why time splits are done. Because you cannot change one and the same timeline (though in fiction we often do not mind). Also Trunks' timeline is also just another branch of many timelines that occured AFTER timesplits.

Well Cell is a gentlemen, but as piccolo stated mr satan isn't worth the energy. Bad excuse IMO. I don't like mr satan at all. Just causes plot holes. But cel lcan be nice and gentlemanly like when he saw the two frightened girls at ZTV. I can see him surpressing himself.

As for beerus, it's weird as you see he's not evil and would have reason to hold back, accept he was planning on destroying the earth so....why did he hold back enough to only hurt the Z fighters and bulma and not kill them when he obviously could have. Vegeta was only 9% the power of beerus. beerus could have stop suppressing himself and killed them all in ONE HIT. But he held back so their heads didn't pop open and such....It's basically plot armour.

As of right now in super if beerus were to hit bulma or chi-chi it'd be understandable they'd live.

Kid buu and Omega shenron are SADISTIC so whe nthey hit the likes of mr satan and videl and such, it's because they wanted them to feel PAIN. Ironically it's easier to excuse why two psychos hold back in a fight then two more civilized people.... XD

Inbefore people have the ultimate theory that the villains did not hold back and Mr. Satan secretly IS the most powerful character ever.

The "original" timeline -- ie., the one that exists without any interference from time travelers from the future -- is the one in which Cell kills Trunks and steals his time machine.

Pretty grim, but depending how circular Black's origin winds up being, it's possible it had a peaceful future after that.

Do they even remember about Cell's timeline? They clearly remembered his time machine, but I have a feeling they'll never bring up the fact that there's actually three parallel universe 7s.

I wasn't going to start the shit-show it would lead to in the episode discussion thread, and it's as minor as an plot inconsistency that ever cropped up in the manga, but technically, if the "new" ring Gowasu referred to last episode was the result of Trunks' time travel, three new rings should have shown up rather than one. (A total of three new timelines are created due to Trunks and Cell's shenanigans.)

Or -- and I just thought of this -- perhaps only one showed up because they were the divergent timeline, and it could only access the timeline that created the splinter?

Either way, I doubt we'll see reference to Cell's timeline or the "unseen" timeline again. That would be a nightmare for new viewers. People have brought up that technically it would make more sense for Cell's time machine to jump into that original timeline rather than Trunks' divergent one, but ... whatever; it's not the worst thing to hand wave, especially given they're repairing it basically from scratch.

Thinking about it, Future Bulma is probably alive in Cell's timeline... wonder what she's up to.

Probably mourning the mysterious death of her son and worrying about the intentions of whoever stole the time machine.

She faces the same problem Goku had, which is locating it. It's implied New Namek is nowhere close to its old address and is difficult to search for. The Freeza Force, who are capable of superior travel, cannot find the star system which New Namek resides. It may not even be in the same 'section' of the universe.

It would appear that I am the victim of a post-edit. :P

The mystery surrounding Cell and the second time machine was good exposition, and only an episode or two later where Cell gives that giant info dump is awful exposition.

I think that was the only time that thriller was felt in this series.

What's the range of a Potara fusion? What if the participants equip them from opposite sides of the planet, from different sections of the universe, to outside of the universe? Will it draw the users together to merge without fail?
