Character #139: Commander Red



Like:

• He was so confident that his army would conquer the world that he was willing to waste a magical wish to become taller!
• The anime played up the Blofeld inspiration by giving him a monster-type animal to pet.
• He's an antagonist who isn't a fighter. It's different to have the protagonist progress through powerful hired guns to accomplish their goals. It wouldn't mesh well for him to directly combat Goku anyway.

Dislike:

• He has a tendency for narcissism.
• Unappreciative of his men, seeing as he had Blue executed despite him greatly contributing to the progress of the Dragon Ball hunt.
• Furthermore, his leadership must be a result of his wealth as he was cowardly enough to suggest Assistant Black cover his escape alone.

Character #140: Ledgic

Like:
-he was one of the 2-3 things I actually enjoyed in the first 15 episodes or so of GT.
-cool design.
-good fight with Goku.
-he basically told Don Kee to go f*** himself. I hated that guy.
Dislike:
-he never comes back for a rematch
-he feels a bit similar to other characters, like Paikuhan or Piccolo.

Character #141: Dracula Man



Like:

• He has a defined fighting style beyond stance, block, and strike.
• He's a specialized shapeshifter and combines it with his fighting strategy. Now, I'm not sure if this is a property of being a vampire or if he learned it like Pu'er and Oolong, but I enjoy the continuity nonetheless.

Dislike:

• He has a fighting style, but he doesn't actually use it much, opting to use his fangs as a primary weapon and blood snack.
• While on his fangs, his battle with Kuririn focused too much time on that gimmick, despite the decent gag humor (and damage!) inflicted.

Character #142: Panchii (パンチー) or Bulma's mother



Like:

• How nice she is; I bet she would offer Freeza a cup of tea if his ship landed on Capsule Corps' backyard;
• She's so airheaded that she faces even the most unusual situations so naturally.

Deslike:

• She rarely appears nowadays, while she could be used more often in humor scenes.

Character #143: Hatchiyack



Like:

• His design.
• Him being a silent killing machine.
• His fighting style being unique; assaulting multiple characters at once.
• All of his transformations.

Dislike:

• He couldn't kill anyone because of his OVA being non-canon.
• Him not realizing that Goku has found out about his weakness.

Character #144: Cabba / Kyabe

Likes: His backstory seems interesting and could bring some depth to Super. And he looks pretty awesome as a Super Saiyan. His armor is cool, but (see below)...
Dislikes: I've never been a fan of his blue suit. It looks way too casual for someone like him.

For some strange reason, I can just imagine Todd Haberkorn playin' Cabba. I don't know why but it seems fitting.

Character #145

Hirudegarn



Like:

• Not just another generic anthropomorphic Dragon Ball villain.
• Its first form is cool, but its transformed look is awesome.
• Its origin story on Konats is interesting.
• The fact that he's playable in Sparking Meteor/Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
• Given just enough screen time. Hirudegarn works well as a movie villain, but wouldn't have worked as well as a villain in the anime. While I think some of the movie villains could've worked as good, if not better in the anime (Coola, Broli, Bojack, Janemba), Hirudegarn is perfect for a DB movie.

Dislike:
I feel like they could've left out its first form from the movie and still have had a good movie.

Character #146 - Fu



Like - His cute imp-y/ish design. His brief concept and being the son of two villains that I like are awesome. I dare to say he's one of the most mysterious character in Dragon Ball franchise, as it was said he would have great impact/influence over the world, and so far, we don't know what that means.

Dislike - He didn't even make his way into Dragon Ball Online properly, that wonderful game closed too soon, avoiding Fu to have his time to shine.

Character #147: Bacterian



Like:

• He had the ability to use Goku's sense of smell against him!
• Likewise, it was humorous that his stench wouldn't work on a nose-less human... who breathes through his skin.
• He uses spit as a projectile. Toriyama must be fond of that ability with at least two other characters doing this.

Dislike:

• Is it really necessary that he has to drool? He's already disgusting enough with his smell.
• His death was unusually darker than most, being left to rot in an alleyway, if I recall correctly.
• He's prone to being unusually cruel in apparent victory. I'm not a fan of him kicking Kuririn while he was down. It's in his best interest to simply ring him out instead of provoking him in a competition.

Character #148

Gowasu



Like:
Good for keeping a level head on Zamasu. I've also seen some speculation online that he could be Black instead of Zamasu. If that's the case, he'll be much more interesting of a character once that's finally revealed.

Dislike:
Like Zamasu, I'm not a huge fan of his character design. I get that they're Kaioshin, whom all generally look about the same, but I still would've preferred to see something a bit different than a character design similar to that of East Kaioshin's.

Bear Bandit



Like: He's has a bigger status than Pterodactyl and he engages in a head-to-head fight with Goku. I like to think of him as Goku's first "actual" opponent ever, deserving to be remembered just for that. The first animal to be clothed and use weapons in Dragon Ball.

Dislike: He's brushed aside quickly, it would be better if he actually did a bit more than just look scary.

Character #150: Yajirobe



Like:

• He's an honorable coward.
• Unlike Goku, he will eat anything!
• Despite being a hermit, Karin or someone else sure did teach him how to drive well.

Dislike:

• I'm disappointed he didn't continue his reluctant role of saving people seemingly out of nowhere.
• Why, he's the reason senzu are always limited in every arc.

Character #151: Bulla/Bra



Like: Well, I like everything about her canon version! Most adorable Dragon Ball character hands down in my opinion.
Dislike: Multiverse Bra is awful, and GT's rendition of Bulla is pretty bad too. It's like Toei didn't know what to do with her in GT, so she's just kinda... there in a couple of scenes. In the end of Z (and Kai), so many people manage to miss her and think she's non-canon. I dislike that they never did much with Bulla, and that in Super she's still yet to be mentioned, making it a possibility that she actually is non-canon now. I can't blame Toriyama for not doing anything with her in the short End of Z, obviously.

Character #152: Fortuneteller Baba



Like:

• I love how there's an untold story around her and Turtle Hermit both seemingly livings for hundreds of years.
• She always has nice cameos, such as meeting with the Oni and almost getting shot at by Chi-Chi.

Dislike:

• She's a talented singer!
• She can only predict the short-term future, it would seem.

Toma



Like:
His loyalty and camaraderie with Bardock. Plus, his armband becomes Bardock's bloody headband (pun intended) after Toma dies.

Dislike:
I'm surprised that he never became as popular as Selypa did, but I guess it's perhaps because of her appearance and, prior to Gine becoming a character, was often linked to Bardock as possibly being Bardock's mate/Goku's and Raditz's mother (I'm glad that never did become the case as I do personally prefer Gine to Selypa). Also, I would've rather had Toma be a playable character in BT3/Sparking Meteor than Selypa, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

Character #154: Captain Violet



Like:

• She is assigned with one of my favorite shades of color.
• Like Red and Black after her, she's aware of her limitations as a non-fighter by wisely deducing she cannot combat Goku, deciding to run away with valuables instead. An antagonist accomplishes their primary goal without consequence!
• In Dragon Ball DS 2, it's interesting that she's one of the few, if only, characters to attempt to take advantage of Bluma's wealth for ransom.

Dislike:

• Toriyama introduces her, only to never use her again in the manga.
• She's not very loyal to her own men, unless they're directly compensating her.
• It was odd that she flip-flopped with her motives in Dragon Ball DS 2. I understand it's for gameplay purposes, but it bothers me she wants to fight Goku for a payoff that doesn't serve well in risk/reward percentages.

Character #155: Dai Shinkan/Grand Priest



Likes:

• Not much to say since he's just a new character; but i like his character design and the "one of the 5 strongest fighters" tidbit we got.

Dislike:

• I don't quite like his voice, it doesn't fit well with his design. Although i will probably get use to it soon.

[Nejishiki]

Character #156: King Chapa



Like:

• It's nice for a martial artist like him to be humbled by defeat, opting to challenge once more after training.
• He connects the world ever so slightly with him being a previous victor of the Tenkaichi Budoukai. It shows growth of the budoukai when progress is made from the participant caliber.
• He introduces the concept of moving so quickly, that it appears he has multiple limbs, making the swerve later effective when Tenshinhan reveals his arms are real.

Dislike:

• It's typical, but his buildup was a tad high for how quickly he was dispatched.
• His reappearance was lacking beside the one positive I noted. I wouldn't know how to handle that better.
