Super and One Piece are being replaced with a Kochikame TV Special on September 18th. As much as I'd like these breaks to amount to something, they likely aren't doing anything for the quality of the show. Instead of sorting out their schedule problems and creating a buffer, the animators are likely just using that time to work on cuts for different series.
They are getting more frequent, looks like Toei is trying to pull a Togashi

Wow! That's an exaggeration. If this was Togashi we'd had one episode for all of Super so far...
We've had what, five or six breaks in about a year. That's not bad and I had five episodes a week as a kid of Dragon Ball.

One arc is called Rebellion of Zamasu, but we already know he goes bad.

Random question: How would one go about pronouncing Zamasu's name in English?

It's a Japanese word, so the same way they do.

I'm just confused about something; they seem to skip the
u and pronounce it
Zamas, yet in the next-to-most recent podcast here, it's pronounced with the
u. I don't know which way is more "accurate".

Zah-mah-su, though the characters in the show seem to say Zah-mahs.

The U is still there in Japanese, it's just a weak U.

Has anybody seen this? It was posted on Youtube recently so I don't know if it is actually old or not, but there is a live action movie about the Androids in Trunks' timeline. Now before y'all dismiss it due to the horrible memories of the first live action film, I must say It's actually not that bad, even though it still looks corny to me. However, given their budget and resources they did a good job.

This is not an official production, and as such it's better suited for the "Fan-Works" section if you're looking to discuss it.

Very weak, almost not there. So, it really does sound like there isn't one.

That's how weak vowels work in Japanese, if you didn't know any better it would sound like it's not there, but if you listen closely it is. The only way I can think to demonstrate it in text would be like this;
ZAMASu.

According to Toei western assets it's transliterated as Zamas

Toei have also used Bills and Kylilin before, so that's not really anything to go by.
It's a soft U like you hear in "Desu" or "Gozaimasu". I equate it to how many of us English guys drop our Ts on occasion. You can pronounce them both ways, it just depends on the scenario.
Neither way is right or wrong.

Toei's file names aren't always accurate to what we end up getting in English, or even accurate to the original name. They use Bills for Beerus files quite often for example.

I know how they work. The U is unpronounced, so phonetically, it's as if it really isn't there. Not reying to argue, just saying.

Men tend to speak with a weaker "U" sound in "desu" too, so we may have to wait for some woman to say his name. But yeah, the "U" sound is there, just weak.
