I'm hoping Tate brings us something that surpasses his cut in #26. That thing ended up on so many 'Sakuga Cuts of Year' lists; I just want more of it!
Is there an analysis out somewhere about that cut Ajay? I know is great but since I don't understand too much about animation I just want to know why that cut is so great! I mean I get it's really cool but I want to get my eyes "opened" xD

My next Super Supervisor video will be out tomorrow and that's all on Tate. I actually go over this cut a little bit, so hopefully that'll help!

Was that directed at the animation only? Because I know the art was rather lacking in the TV broadcast, but it was animated very well.

No, the entire thing.

I really hope my video dispels illusions about Tate's art. To some degree, at least.

I look forward to the video Ajay, but I kinda wish you were going to wait for his next episode to air, or at least for the NEP of it.

This time I think they do have enough time
Tate was only an assistant supervisor on episode 50 and he's not listed as an animator on that episode and his style isn't visible on any of the action. A very small number of non action shots have his style so he likely did a small amount of uncredited animation/art or just did a small amount of corrections to help the episode out. His last actual episode was episode 47, the first episode of this arc.

Goku vs Beerus episode 11 was the best
13 was a masterpiece for me

I'm considering waiting for the NEP, and using it as a bit of a hype clip for the end of the video, actually. Depends on how tired I am tomorrow.

I just want to contextualise his work before the next episode airs, so that everyone who watches it at least understands what he's about.

That sounds like a good idea to me. I'm really excited to see what they show in the NEP.

They might show the form like they did with Super Saiyan Blue (not that it mattered then).

Well it's in the title, so that is pretty likely, but I'm more interested to see what kind of action might make its way into the NEP.

Same here, although I don't want as much as we got in the NEP for #50, because that seemed like a whole lot of the fight itself.

It would have been so much more comfortable if he was doing the following episode instead. I am worried SSR will happen at the end of episode, really hope SSR happens before the eye catch and we get a whole second half then it ends with Goku going SSGSS.

Not sure if it's been posted somewhere here already, but it looks like an image from 56 has popped up thanks to @DBZcom on Twitter.

Well that image tells us absolutely nothing, but I like the expression on Goku's face, though his fingers look a bit weird.
I wonder what's going on in that image, looking at it again it almost looks like he broke his fingers and is screaming because of it.
I wonder if that shot is Manabe.

Why is Goku telling me fuck off? UK fans will get the reference. :P

Seems like Rock Paper Scissors? :P It's a fun little shot. Hopefully we get to see a little bit of Tate's nice character acting in that episode too! Does kinda seem a tad bit more Manabe-ish I think.

Maybe Goku and Vegeta play Rock Paper Scissors on who gets to fight Black and Goku loses.

Sure is!

Or at least, it's whoever corrected #27 to make it look like it did. Those ears and the giant traps are always in his episodes.

Probably Manabe, unless Oka is working on the episode for whatever reason.

I actually really hate how #27 looks, but I love this image, so whatever!

I like the shot but Manabe's shading bothers me sometimes.
