Would anyone like to see Dragon Ball Heroes released in North America?
I realize there is no chance in hell of this happening but I think Heroes has some really cool characters and I'd certainly be willing to play it.

Yes. I'd love to play as all those characters who no one would ever think to play as in decades. But another 3DS version would be better so the cards could be digital (although Dokkan Battle seems way too complicated).

Does anyone remember the Hyper Scan? It was a console that plugged into your tv with games like Ben 10 and you could scan cards on it to play as his aliens. Like scanning 4-arms could would let you play as 4-arms. I really wished they could do something with a home-console and release booster packs or card packs like they do with Yu-Gi-Oh! They released Rockband with Drums and such, I don't see why they couldn't sell a Heroes video game for home console with a starter deck/pack and a card scanner. Actually, I'm not sure about the PS4 but on Xbox one you can already scan cards with Kinect so a scanner might not need to be packaged with it. Heroes would make a good Kinect game now that I think about it... Kinect arcade game.

Sure, why not? I think the game play style of Heroes would appeal to various different audiences, not mention the tons and tons of characters that always seem the hook for the core fanbase in regards to Dragon Ball games.

At the very least, I'd love to have just the cards (slightly) rebranded as a trading card game

Oohhhh, that would be sweet. Then you could play as whoever you wanted (hopefully) without having to worry about cards being in or out of stock.Dbzfan94 wrote:At the very least, I'd love to have just the cards (slightly) rebranded as a trading card game

Yeah, I personally don't have much interest in the gameplay itself, mainly the new cards and trailers they put out for promotion. lolAnime Kitten wrote:Oohhhh, that would be sweet. As much as I would love to see Heroes reach North America, I think it would fail instantly. The reason being that the series' video game popularity is solely on the fighting genre (Budokai, Budokai Tenkaichi, Xenoverse, etc.), and the concept of an arcade game that uses trading cards would be foreign to the fans in North America. A similar concept was made back in 2007 for the PS3 called "The Eye of Judgement," and that didn't appeal to gamers at the time, which caused it to fail.
But who knows, times have changed. If it doesn't release here, then hopefully the arcades over at Asia would have an English version like the Dragon Battlers arcade game.

The best chance of this happening is if Super Dragon Ball Heroes gets an NX port and Bandai decides to localize it.
And I hope that happens.
Sell it digitally for 20 bucks and keep the voices Japanese, it'd probably make some money.

But it'd prob cost way too much money for FUNi to voice EVERYONE so yeah

The U.S. has no arcade culture to speak of. Heroes thrives in Japan because children can actually access these machines if they live in a city.
I wouldn't mind giving the 3DS version a spin, but the window on that has probably passed.

How does the DBH actually work. You can buy the cards with sealed random packages, or you buy some starter pack and the arcade machine dispenses some cards as reward?

Oh my goodness! Yes! I would love to see Dragon Ball Heroes in North America. That'll really complete me for life in my honest opinion. I WANNA BE A GREAT CARD STRATEGIST--- I mean, I just want to enjoy my time playing the game if such a thing ever happens.
See - Life is like a ball.
It will keep rolling in time and bounce with excitement. Until, that ball will be flat. You will be weak.
But, don't fret. At time, the ball won't be flat anymore. It'll be round and strong. You, and I mean you, will be strong once again.
PROBABLY NOT ON HIATUS AGAIN BUT WHO KNOWS?
Yeah, thing is that I am always not here and it’s saddening to me. Seriously. I just want to make some great topics and such, yes?
