I think the time breakers will just be alt costumes like Villainous mode was in the first game.

I don't even know WHAT to predict at this point. I don't see Garlic Jr. or Dr. Wheelo making it into the main story. The only villains advertised thus far are Turles, Slug, Cooler, Broly, and Janemba, which somewhat tells me that we won't get much more. I will, however, call Bojack appearing in the Androids Saga.

Gamescom 2016, the video game expo which took place in Germany this past weekend, is over. It brought new gameplay and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Trailer 4. The latest from the event is a new interview with Masayuki Hirano, Producer at Bandai Namco Entertainment thanks to TheNinjaSpooky. Take a look at the key points and video interview below!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s World Tournament Mode will be implemented much earlier in the release cycle than Xenoverse 1. Like it’s predessor, Xenoverse 2 will not have ring outs.

Character’s won’t be able to start out transformed, unless the transformation is a base character like Majin Vegeta or Future Gohan

Xenoverse 2 won’t have Kid Goku from Dragon Ball, Frieza’s 2nd form, Cell’s 2nd form, or Buu’s absorbed forms. If many fans want them, however, it may be something that could be added after the game is released.

Super Saiyan Blue Goku with Kaioken Times 10 isn’t planned for Xenoverse 2, however, there have been a lot of requests so they will see what can be done.

Players will have the power to change the history in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Xenoverse 2’s story will be the same length as Xenoverse 1, but it will have many new features that will extend the fun while playing.

Like Xenoverse 1, swords equipped to created characters will be for decorative purposes in Xenoverse 2. However, if enough fans want to see a change, then there will be change.

Team attacks, like those in Naruto Storm 4, are not planned in Xenoverse 2.

That was a Chile event? For some reason a lot of people were saying it was a Spain event. Sorry for the mistake, then.

Also, I knew about Frieza, Cell and Buu's other forms not being in the game, which is why I didn't put them on my prediction list, but hopefully they get added as DLC.

Thoroughly disappointed that Freeza and Cell's middle forms aren't making the cut, along with Boo's absorptions. As much as I want them in though, I don't want paid DLC wasted on content to fill in incomplete gaps that I feel should have been included in the first place, instead of branching out into truly new content.

I'm more dissappointed that we don't seem to be getting any NEW characters. I don't mean new as in, an old cahracter with a new outfit or transformation, I mean new original ones. Comon, Dimps. Give us more Time patrollers to give a shit about and fight with in the story mode, give the villains new acomplices. Hell, with all the backstory the NPCs of the last game gave us, we shoould have side quests helping them in their weird new timelines!

Something must have been lost in translation here, because Future Gohan has his base form in this game.

Xenoverse 2 won’t have Kid Goku from Dragon Ball, Frieza’s 2nd form, Cell’s 2nd form, or Buu’s absorbed forms. If many fans want them, however, it may be something that could be added after the game is released.

No 2nd form Freeza and Cell or Buu absorptions is ridiculous, they should have been in the first game and them not being in the second is beyond dumb, I wonder if this means 3rd form Freeza is in though. Hopefully we still get 19, 20 and Dabra to fill some of the existing gaps in the Z roster.
2nd form Freeza could have easily been a clone of regular Freeza, Semi Perfect Cell could have easily been a clone of Imperfect Cell and the Buu absorptions could have just been alternate costumes for Super Buu. If these get added post launch they better be part of the free updates and not part of the DLC packs.

I could see characters like Wheelo, Bojack and Garlic being added simply to fill the roster with no ties to the story. Hopfully we'll get more shots of the movie villains screwing things up in the Cell and Buu saga. THough from the shots we already have avaiable, I'm predicting it's Broly in the cell saga and Janemba in the Buu Saga.

One thing I wonder though is that since the Tree of Might is a stage, would that mean we'll experience movie 3? Or is that stage actually the Tree of Might on Namek?

The franchise as a whole has been messing up left and right ever since BOG but the one thing that stood out was XV but I guess it has to get in line with the rest of the mediocrity the franchise has been putting out.

Hopefully this will be a financial flop so that CyberConnect2 can potentially take over and show us what the franchise is truly capable of like what they did with Naruto.

What do you mean by "interactive"?

There's a lot of gameplay improvements, and the graphics are much better.

They specifically said they weren't adding many stages because there was already a lot to begin with, IIRC.

Any one of these companies will do anything for money. (A few exceptions, such as FUNimation.)

One of the big things they've focused on is how they've tightened the combat up drastically and those who have played the demos have mentioned that it feels a lot better.

All he said was that if people want them they can add them, that isn't them actively not including them in the game to be sold later, that's him saying that they didn't find those characters particularly important to the story they are telling but if people really want them badly they'll put the work in post launch.
