Considering the fact that Yajirobe, who doesnt even apear in the intro for super, is about to become relevant, then maybe Chaoitzu can too, and this is his chance.

Funny you should mention Yajirobe, as he's my candidate!
Just look at what the first thing we see that Karin and Yajirobe are up to, when we finally have them appear in Super.. They are playing a game(in anime: limbo, in manga: twister).

Chaozu has only ever had three credible moments in the original series.

1. Acting as a significant rival for Krillin during the 22nd tournament
2. Almost managing to articulate the wish to Shenron for Piccolo Daimao's demise
3. Blowing himself up in a fruitless effort to kill Nappa

He's otherwise held a virtual non-presence on the big screen since his inception. For something so important to suddenly arise for him would seem out of place when we can't even see the other Saiyans receive any substantial screen time in the plot. I doubt Tenshinhan would allow it anyway. If anyone is going to be Zeno's companion then I would expect it to be Pan. They're both young and playful enough to be friends with each other, I think.
