Yea, but someone said in the manga that trunks went ssj3 and hero also if I'm not mistaken?
No he didn't. In the Manga it was stated that Trunks was as strong as SS3 Goku in SS2 or something like that. But Trunks never transformed.
Heroes doesn't count since they do things completely unrelated and SS3 Trunks happened years before this arc anyway.
SS3 hasn't been a thing for a while don't know why fans keep clamouring for it. Even if Trunks does get a new transformation it'll likely be SSGSS over SS3 (he is Vegeta's son so if he can get SSGSS from a BS way then I'm sure Trunks can do. Plus I think it looks better.) But I don't think Trunks will get anything new, would be extremely surprised if he did.
Also SS3 looks hella ugly on everyone else except Goku it just about works on him. Like how Rosé looks really good on Black but I'd doubt it'll look as near good on Vegeta or even Goku.

We don't know that for sure. Not saying that it isn't, but for all we know, Toei could have removed SSG from the new arcs like they removed it from the the finale of the BoG arc.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

The only reason I see Trunks getting a new from is that nobody else in the series besides literally Goku and Vegeta (black doesn't count) have received a new form. If Trunks gets SSB it would just cause more confusion on how the hell he got strong enough for that. At least with SSJ3 it would be more believable if it happened.

I am just happy to finally see someone other than Goku and Vegeta getting some spotlight in a fight and hopefully Trunks can win. I doubt the fight ends here though. Plus some kind of fusion or something has to be done with Vegeta the guy was stabbed I doubt he can take that pain for much longer.
It was less than a day, so there is no way he could get way stronger.

In reguard to the issue people had with the whole Zeno button taking away any tension. Has anyone thought that maybe Zeno knows about all this?
As far as we know he found out about the U6 & 7 tournament all on his own and that Beerus and Champa had been slacking, a rogue kaioshin would be very hard to miss.

I'm sure he does know but frankly if he started to get involved what tension would any of the characters have if he is always going to help. I would like for this arc to end without him having to fight. I like that this is up in the air as to what is going to happen I haven't felt this way about a DB arc since ever. This is one twist after another.

The preview says Trunks' attacks against Zamasu aren't working. I doubt he'll do much in this particular fight.

Don't you remember, Trunks was Image Training in one of the episodes? Or as the cool kids call it, イマトレ

That's actually a pretty interesting take on it. Maybe he gave Goku the button so he can punish Black and Zamasu for all the deeds they did. Destroying them in an instant.

That kinda a big assumption. Especially when the manga put Super Saiyan God in the middle of the Hit fight and did so little that it could be removed with no consequences.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Or maybe this is a test to see if things need to change. If Goku can save the day then things stay as they are but is Zamasu wins, Zeno may decide to go along with his way of thinking!

Like I said, we don't know for sure. Assuming that it is a Toyotaro thing is the same as assuming it is a Toriyama thing. We also know that Toei change things from Toriyama's versions of his stories whenever they feel it's necessary. We already have one occation that Toei removed SSG, which was in Toriyama's version of the story, so it wouldn't be surprising if they did it again.
The difference between the manga & the anime is that we can tell which ideas originate from Toei, but we can't tell which ideas originate from Toyotaro.

^ I keep saying it, but the best we can do is guess on who's idea is what. Like I said before even the entire concept of The Battle of the Gods was a Toei idea and invention. They sent Toriyama a rough script which had already created the Gods of Destruction and Goku as a God. That's why I find the entire argument of what's a Toriyama invention and what's not ludicrous when BoG was literally conceived and written by Toei initially before it even got to Toriyama. If you don't like something based on it not being "Toriyamas original idea" then I don't see how you can like the Super series at all which is basically a Toei invention with Toriyamas input and name stamped on it.
I will make my perspective clear. Dragonball Super is first and foremost a Toei invention with Toriyamas name and input attached in my opinion and based on preproduction interview from Toriyama.

The Super Saiyan God & Hakaishin that Toei came up with were nothing like Toriyama's Super Saiyan God & Hakaishin though. Toriyama changed everything and only kept some basic concepts: the Dragon Team have a party, 3 thieves come to steal the Dragon Balls, and the Super Saiyan God fights the Hakaishin. Τhat's literally all there is from Toei in Battle of Gods.
Literally.

Yeah my point is that that literally sounds like a story outline. Further we have know idea everything that was taken or changed we just know he rewrote most of it,

It's still Toriyama's work because it's his version what they went with. And they need his plots for Dragon Ball Super so you can't say it's Toei's invention.

As was previously mentioned, the SSJBKK being Toei only is the same as saying SSJG's return was Toyotarou only. The anime is made by Toei, so they could use the Kaioken combo again if they wanted to. And you seem to think that Goku being told he can't use it again would stop him, yet in the Saiyan Saga he was told not to go above 2x, yet he did. I would like to see SSJBKK return so, as I said, there can be lasting consequences instead of, "Oh, your Ki is messed up? Don't worry, it'll be fine later." Plus they would be able to make more merchandise since Goku's in his old gi.

That's the exact article I'm referencing. Like I said we have no idea how much made and how much didn't. The entire point I'm making is that pointing to little bits like SSB X KK or SSG and saying that DEFINITELY wasn't from Toriyama is false, conversely saying that something definitely was his idea is also false. The entire point I'm making is how ridiculous it is trying to justify something by whether or not it's Toriyamas original idea because we don't know EVERYTHING that he contributed versus Toei. Anyone claiming to know otherwise is
A: a mind reader
B: a liar
C: a super spy with access to secret documents.
