Oh man.. I really dont like the color of the super saiyan blue without it's aura.. It looks so "greenish" to me..

I've tried to re-color it a little bit. What do you guys think?

Really don't like that edit. Seems wayy to dark. I agree the above original seems a little too greenish I think the movie had the colour perfect it wasn't as green as that, here :

It definitely isn't as green. Super has been widely inconsistent regarding SSGSS. Probably one of my gripes about Super the colours have been a little inconsistent.

It's only green when you compare it to an edit. The color is fine the way it is. No need to complain about something like that. Now, if Super Saiyan Blue starts to become a real Super Saiyan Green, then we'll talk.

The colour differences you're seeing are due to the different sources.

Different capture methods will produce different colour tones. You also have to account for the different channels, too.

Back when the Boo arc of Kai was airing, Kei pointed out that, while there is a bad green tint, it's not quite as awful as it may seem as the online raws were slightly green anyway.

My screenshot is from a direct capture of Fuji TV. It's more than likely the more accurate colour tone.

The stream is pretty bad. It's over bright and badly tinted. Been that way for ages now, but eh, can't ask for much from that kinda thing.

Side-note: compare that movie screenshot with the preview from next week. Mindblowing how much nicer Shida's designs are compared to Yamamuro's.

Also I agree the Goku in the NEP is definitely designed a bit better than the movie. Not mindblowing to me but I guess Ajay etc see things differently lol. Speaking of I wish you held off on that Tate episode until this week would have liked to see you dissect his work on Saturday.

Toei obliterated that video from existence. Waiting to hear how my counter-claim claiming fair use for documentary purposes turns out. Weird that they took issue with it and not any of my others. They were more than happy just monetising my previous videos and keeping them up. Probably because I used video with the show's audio at one point in this one, I guess. Oh well! If it isn't reinstated, then RIP that series.

Tate was also really heavily corrected this week, so outside of a few scenes where his work was left alone, a lot of it was filtered through Tsuji. Really sad to see cool Tate action scenes suddenly have Tsuji reaction shots. Really fucking sucks. I wanted to see those crazy faces from #38 return.

The same went for almost all of the shots featuring Super Saiyan Rosé. They were absolutely not letting anyone deviate from the model sheets for that character in this episode. Totally understand the reasoning, but I would have loved to have seen Tate's Rosé. Not happening, it seems!

So yeah, even if I had waited, there wouldn't have been a whole lot to talk about. He played with perspective a lot, which was cool, but that's about it.

Ahh fair enough but I think some of his faces did make it I think I caught a glimpse when Vegeta was falling down sort of reminded me of episode 5. I think what you said also probably explains why the episode wasn't as hated on from from others.

And that really sucks about the video man you put a lot off effort on that but not at all surprising Toei can be so bi polar sometimes. Such a weird company it's so hard to understand them sometimeas like for eg with OP film gold they're releasing it theatrically subbed WW yet unlike "F" they're not allowing it to be dubbed yet. You've got Super clips all over YT yet they have an issue with your video.

Don't get me wrong, he had a huge presence on the episode and you can absolutely see his work, it's just that it bugs me you can see where stuff has been over-refined. I like Tsuji's style, but I want to see Tate.

While I found it to be one of my favourites.

You don't like Tate much though, do you? So I guess that explains it!

I'm not particularly fond of Manabe's style, so I wasn't really feeling the styles found in the first half of this episode.
