Was the name of Jaco's girlfriend ever revealed? Or is there any clue as to what it could be?
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I want to express how much I'm enjoying the actual arc of Dragon Ball Super, it seems everything took a big step! New characters, plot, tone and especially the soundtrack, I never was a fan of Norihito Sumitomo work but he's really doing a good job in this arc, a great soundtrack makes all the diference in my POV.

Ay, has anyone ever watched a 16:9 dvd on a 4:3 CRT Tv? I did that a couple of months back with a Season Set DVD I bought and it actually looked good after I tweaked my Tv's color settings. This may bother others but I love the black bars on top of the 16:9 footage when I put it on a 4:3 Crt. It makes it seem like I'm in a movie theatre. It makes it cooler and more cinematic to me. I can only imagine how beautiful that'd look with a Kai 16:9 dvd.

the french or german kai blu-ray's should be right up your alley. The japanese kai dvds, however...quality is poor.

Yup. After a lot of searching, I finally was able to find Part 1 of Kai in French on Dvd on Ebay for 50 bucks yesterday. That's probably the lowest price I've been able to find it so I'mma cop it while I can :P

Here's one I had that I don't think is thread worthy.

If Gine is ever animated by Toei, do you think Masako Nozawa would also voice her as she does the rest of Goku's family, or would the voice actress of either Chi-Chi or Videl voice Gine? Or would they bring in a new Seiyu altogether?

They'd probably bring in a new one. Hypothetically, if that were the case, I'd like to see Satsuki Yukino give it a try. She voiced Kagome on Inuyasha. I think she'd do a darn good Gine if I do say so myself

Interesting choice, I could actually see that voice for Gine. I wonder who Funimation would choose from their voice acting pool.

Two words. Brina. Palencia. They'd pull that lady in ASAP to voice Gine. She seems to be Funi's go to girl when it comes to female leads.

You think Schemmel would be a good choice to voice Goku Black?

No, from the serious voices we've seen him do as Goku (SS3, SS4 and SSB), they're too rough and don't fit an elegant character like Black. The dialogue could make the difference but I doubt he'll do as good as Nozawa (not like he does as good of a job as her even as Goku, though). But it's gotta be him since he's also Goku.

Dang Doctor, you really don't like Schemmel  To answer the original question, I don't think he could pull it off at all but I'd give it a hear.

Just because I don't think he's as good as Nozawa doesn't mean I dislike Schemmel, I think he's passable enough.

My apologies. Nozawa sets that bar pretty darn high though.

He's been clamouring for that for years I reckon he'll put every ounce of effort into it, yeah I reckon he'll do good.

Since Black is a DLC for X2 we might get an idea pretty soon..

So when Future Trunks goes back in time and talks to Goku, Goku mentions that at first, he couldn't control transforming into a SSJ at will and he had to learn how to train to reach that state voluntarily. However, on Namek, after Goku decides to leave Freeza after he believes that he's won and fighting him further would be pointless, he returns to his base form and once he realizes that Freeza's not given up on their fight, he goes back to a SSJ and continues fighting him. Am I missing something here because by my account, Goku's doing exactly what he claimed needed training to do post-Namek; become a SSJ at will.

Has Schemmel ever talked about or tried doing a kid Goku voice?

Tranquil anger triggered that transformation, too. You can see it in his face after he sends a ki blast at Freeza one last time. That's how I'll explain it, anyway.

It always made sense to me, that since barely one minute had passed between dropping out of SS to Freeza throwing that disk at him, it was much easier for Goku to activate, since the feeling hadn't completely left him yet. After he landed on Yardrat, of course it'd be harder, because the imminent danger and every other factor had gone and he had to remember that feeling again.

Man, for three years I've gotten an Blue Brick for my Birthday, and I just got Hulu again, and it has Dragon Ball. There's 60 bucks wasted.
(Fun Fact: I recently found out I have the same birthday as Jacob Sartorius, fucking kill me. But hey me, Gandhi and Yokozuna have the same birthday, so that's cool.)
