Canonically, he won against Guldo (and it must be said it wasn't his fight), Android 19, and Pui Pui. Is that really a lot of fights?FortuneSSJ wrote:^Nothing really. Because despite not beating any main villain, Vegeta still won a lot of fights.
A collage where whoever made it picked and chose moments Vegeta got "beat up" to make up it like there is some sort of conspiracy? Then I don't really feel anything.Noah wrote:How you guys feel about this?

He also won against Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon 2º round, Jeice, Ginyu-Goku, Semi-Perfect Cell and both fights against Goku.Grimlock wrote: Canonically, he won against Guldo (and it must be said it wasn't his fight), Android 19, and Pui Pui. Is that really a lot of fights?
Not particulary talking about he beating a main villain or not, just that Vegeta lacks style and improvement in main fights, he's very impulsive and didn't took Whis's advice of being too hot-headed could be prejudicial. His fights with Hit and Black were the worst in Super, I know he must be defeated for the plot meaning, but it could be at least trying something instead of just trying to punching harder and faster.FortuneSSJ wrote:^Nothing really. Ah yeah, totally forgot about those ones. He really won those fights.FortuneSSJ wrote:He also won against Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon 2º round, Jeice
Numbers of killed is not the same as winning a fight.FortuneSSJ wrote:If we go in detail he still killed a Saibaman, Nappa, a lot of Namekians, a lot of earthlings, Recoome and Burter.
I have to agree. I would have stop watching newer anime if it was not for several titles out there like Tiger & Bunny, Devil is A Part Timer, Baka and Test, Parasyte and more. I don't watch newer anime because they don't interest me that much. I want more anime similar to Devilman, The Guyver, Ninja Scroll, Wicked City and other classic anime from Yoshiaki Kawajiri or Go Nagai. TTGL and Kill la Kill felt like that they where inspire by Go Nagai's work which is why I like them. Not to mention I don't like the modern day art style of most modern anime. I watch the first episode of Seven Deadly Sins and the art style took me a while to get used too.ArchedThunder wrote:The anime industry currently has a lot of issues, and samey sounding voice acting is one of them. If you want to count the older movies, he did help beat Metal Coola and destroy his chip at the end of DBZ Movie 6. He also killed #15 and help Goku beat Janemba with fusion.FortuneSSJ wrote: He also won against Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon 2º round, Jeice, Ginyu-Goku, Semi-Perfect Cell and both fights against Goku.
I won't count Goku vs Vegeta since Vegeta was the villain in that fight and it took a whole elaborate team battle to take him down.Noah wrote:How you guys feel about this?

Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
Vegeta didn't fight Kid Buu to win, it was to hold him off Goku so in a way he did win cause he accomplished what he wanted to do while Buu failed.Alruneia wrote: 5. Vegeta getting toyed with by Kid Buu[/list]
He broke every bone in Goku's body afterwards.Noah wrote:How you guys feel about this?

Agree with everything besides for those. The fact that Vegeta lost even when Beerus was using 10% of his power is a huge L to me.sintzu wrote:He broke every bone in Goku's body afterwards.Noah wrote:How you guys feel about this?

He forced Beerus to use 10% of his power afterwards.
He killed Zarbon afterwards.
He beat Freeza years later.
He helped Gohan kill Cell afterwards.
His goal was to hold Buu off so in a way he won cause he accomplished his goal while Buu failed.
The Black arc isn't over so we don't know if that's the last thing he'll do.
Apart from the Hit fight, the rest of the list is very misleading and was probably made by someone who hates the fact that Vegeta has gotten more screen time and shining moments then the other Z fighters (Minus Goku of course) combined.

He lost but he did more than a Ssj3 Goku and an Ultimate Gohan which before Goku reached Ssjg was a big deal.kinisking wrote: Agree with everything besides for those. The fact that Vegeta lost even when Beerus was using 10% of his power is a huge L to me.
Gohan only needed help because he saved Vegeta's ass.
