I picked up Sagas for a little play last night and noticed how good some of the cutscenes looked. I was wondering if there was something that they did to them or were they just redrawn. I also noticed that they used Kigh-o-ken instead of Kay-o-ken.
If this should be in the videogames section I do apologize. I just figured that being that this was about the animated cutscene instead of the actual game it should be here.

The opening cutscene is a redraw. The rest of the cutscenes were taken from the rest of the series with the narrator dude talking during them.
After you beat the game, I think, you can play the cutscenes in the options area. You can also unlock these after using a couple cheat codes that unlocks everything.

I thought the Saga opening cutscene(along with Budokai2/3 opening) was gorgeous. I'm suprised that we americans got our own redraw.

Well, you own the game and have beat the whole thing, kinda surprised you haven't given the "Extras" mode a go by watching all the cut-scenes.Magica wrote:After you beat the game, I think, you can play the cutscenes in the options area. Anywho, yeah, there is a cheat code to unlock all of them if you're unable to beat the whole game (available over at gamefaq.com). I'm in agreement about the cut-scenes being a fantastic addition to the game, though it's kinda funny when you consider that red hue is present in all but the first cut-scene, seems to be pimping the Ultimate Uncut releases a bit. I still can't believe it's already been two years since the game was released, how the hell is all this time passing!? Also, this thread does seem to belong in he "Video Games" area.
Gotta love how the following Dragonboxes and Spanish releases haven't included it, we got exclusive dibs.Big Momma wrote:I thought the Saga opening cutscene(along with Budokai2/3 opening) was gorgeous. I'm suprised that we americans got our own redraw.

I will in my own time if I don't keep being pestered about it. I did watch a few a while back. Just not all of them. :pConan the SSJ wrote:Well, you own the game and have beat the whole thing, kinda surprised you haven't given the "Extras" mode a go by watching all the cut-scenes.Magica wrote:After you beat the game, I think, you can play the cutscenes in the options area.
