Hmmmm, that's odd since at my Tae Kwon Do school, there were just as many female students as male. It was pretty much an equal ratio. And I've met plenty of other females who have been in various martial arts over the years. So I disagree with your statement about women not being as attracted to them as men.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Yeah, actually my Karate class has an equal ratio of men and women too.

I guess I left Mai off my list, but I don't think she ever fought using anything but a mecha, which probably wouldn't have made her a fighter at all.

Well, personally I would've liked to see more female fighters, or the existing ones being in the fighting role for longer and stronger than they were.

But, meh, I like Dragonball as it is all the same. ;D It's nothing I'm going to break my head over. If I want to see strong women kick ass and take names I can always pop in any fighting game made in the last ten years.

Obviously, it'd been cool to have seen more female fighters, but since it's a Shounen manga, it's pretty much geared towards males, which is why there aren't as many female fighters in the series, obviously. I'd like to have seen Pan or Bra do more, myself.
I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

SailorMoon: Give me your energy!
SailorSenshi: Sailor Moon!
Goku: Give me your energy!
Z-Senshi: Gokuuu!
Broli: Kakarotto!
Kagome: InuYasha!
InuYasha: Kagome!
Broli: *Attacks stuff*
Vegeta: What the crap? ... Ok, I'm going to give up fighting and start my own Email show!

... Sorry. Umm... Sailor Jupiter would be an interesting DBZ character?

But with Videl... even though she didn't do much, and she wasn't an important character to movingo f the plot once the Buu stuff got a lot of speed, there was a lot of effort to get milage out of her character, in the anime at least.

I maintain that DBZ would be at least 605x better if ChiChi had continued to be a fighter while wearing the bikini armor.
