Petition For Drawing And Animations

Post by Lupin879 » Mon Sep 05, 2016 6:22 am

Boys this is a petition, collecting signatures to demand better drawings and best animations to Toei channel. I really like Dragon Ball but I seem to see South Park really.

Does the petition helps toei financially or in any other kind of way?
No.
Then this is pointless petiton without any weight whatsoever.

Online petitions won't work. Unless everyone one of us start to ignore the Dragon Ball franchise, nothing will happen.
If we all start to ignore the merch, then Dragon Ball will be dead. So there really isn't anything we can do, just enjoy what they cast on us.
We are at the mercy of TOEI and only thing we can is to ventilate our disdane for some of the things we don't like amongs ourselves.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

The only thing we can ask, is to give a 6 weeks break to the series (or two months) to help the poor schedule, the animators are working their asses a lot with Super, it's incredible how this series managed to have good animated scenes/episodes.
I really miss ma boy, Black :(

This isn't how animation works, nor is it Super's issue. The series' issue is and likely always will be time.

A better animator is not necessarily a faster animator. Naotoshi Shida, who blew us all away this week, is a notoriously slow animator, for example.

A petition isn't going to do anything. It'll be laughed out of the building by everyone on the production staff. "How about a petition for a time machine!", they'll say.

People still bitching about Drawing and animation ??? I'm happy that the animation is not more like episode 5 or the Frieza vs Goku fight

Unless the petition is to increase the amount of hours a day will have (maybe from 24 to 50?). I doubt that there is a way that this will work. It is not Toei not caring. It's the fact that they started producing super too soon

The animation is improving on its own honestly. I'm glad people want the best for DB Super and it could always be better but I actually think Toei is trying but being limited by the same animation problems of most anime.

I like optimistic people.

How much signatures do you think you can gather?
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

As well intentioned as this is, if Toei were to even look at it, they would say "Do you live in Japan? No? Yet you are demanding things when you shouldn't even be able to watch the show legally."

They would lol at us :(

The only thing we have as leverage is to threaten to stop pirating the show.

Every internet community always tries an online petition at some point, thinking it will work.
"Kenshi is sitting down right now drawing his mutated spaghetti monsters thinking he's the shit..."--Neptune Kai
"90% of you here don't even know what you're talking about (there are a few that do). But the things you say about these releases are nonsense and just plain dumb. Like you Metalwario64"--final_flash

But... that works in favour for them....

And no I don't think this is well intentioned at all, Toei are the ones who bought the comic to life all those years ago. They've the ones that revived the series if we get a few crappy looking episodes so what? We're damn lucky to be in this situation anyway.

Animators work really hard to deliver us a episode weekly. The problem is not Toei or animators, it's the amount of project Toei is working on. Plus Super s production does not help things. Toei is probably the biggest animation company in Japan, so budget ain't a problem either.

If I work in Toei, I would laugh with such thing as a petition, honestly. It's pointless.

1) I recommend you to read the Animation Catalogue and follow Ajay in social media.

2) Watch Future Trunks arc. It seems you didn't. Complaining about DBS animation and drawing is so 2015.

When fans create petition for better animators for Super, it shows that quite a few fans lack a general understanding of how the animation industry works in Japan or in general.
