DeepDiscountDVD Deal: All FUNi DVDs 50% Off Retail Price

Post by Tsukento » Sat Mar 17, 2007 5:26 am

Looks like DeepDiscountDVD.com's made a really nice deal recently. It would seem every single FUNimation DVD has been marked 50% off of their retail price. This makes Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT DVDs even cheaper than you'd find them at Best Buy.

Noteworthy are the Freeza Saga DVDs being $7.25 a disc, with Cell Saga DVDs being less than $10 each. Even the Dragon Ball DVDs are less than $20. Movie packs are even less than $15. Combine this with the fact that the site offers free shipping and you've got some awesome deals.

Dunno how long this will last, but I'd jump in on it as most of these are prices you're likely to find for used discs at GameStop and what not.

It's been this way for quite a while. As you'll hear in the upcoming podcast, I took this past week to stock up on a bunch of stuff I was missing :P. They used to have A LOT more in stock... now they don't carry a whole lot... beyond a couple Freeza discs, most of the Cell Game, and one or two elsewhere... there's not much of the DBZ TV series you can get. Same goes with DB and DBGT. But what's there has some solid prices, so check it out.

Yeah, I remember when they had a ton of DVDs for the picking. Guess they're cycling 'em out for the possibility of FUNi releasing more boxsets.

Assuming they're not going out of print altogether. FUNi themselves might be cycling them out to further force people to experience the show "the way it was meant to be seen" >_>;;

Yeah, man it's sweet. I actually just bought the Tenshinhan set as well as the second Trinity Blood DVD.

Even if it was 100% off I still wouldn't buy it.

Lavender Saiyan, I've corrected the grammar in your post. Please remember to type properly (and re-read the forum rules). The majority of posts I'm seeing from you just aren't cutting it.

Same goes for you, OutRun2. Your post doesn't make sense, in the first place, either.

Thanks, folks!

If I wasn't already waiting for Sonic SatAM to be released, I'd be getting some more of the movies. They have the Dragonball sets for a nice price.

Finally! An excuse for me to but the third Brolli movie (though it's still cheaper in the used/new section of amazon. Then again, you can never tell how trustworthy those sellers on amazon can be)! I've also got my eyes set on the DBZ movie 1-3 set. I would also be interested in the movie 4-6 set, but it seems to be the edited version.

Of course you wouldn't buy it, because it would be given to you for free.

This is quite nice to know. First off I see that nwoo_2002 posted up a website where we can purchase custom DVD's Boxes for the Frieza Saga, which never has had a Box Set, unless you own the VHS version, and now I learn that the Frieza DVD's are 50% off from DeepDiscountDVD.com! Guess I'll have to do a little spending this week! Oh well, it has certainly been awhile since I've purchased anything DB/Z/GT besides action figures.

Their $6 manga is more appealing to me than the DVDs. That's not bad in the long run.
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.
