Z fighter vs. ...

Correct! Superman is stated to travel at 99% lightspeed. Flash with the SpeedForce can travel at lightspeed and beyond. Yet, their is a difference in styles between the JLA and the Z Senshi. The Z Senshi can FIGHT at lightspeed, Flash and Superman can only travel at the speed of light. If we look at which is better for a fight it would have to be reflexes > Traveling speed.

Agreed, Goku would like to get a good warm up in while fighting (as most of the Z Senshi would). I can't say much about the humans for the Z Senshi, Guess they can sit back and watch or fight some of the JLA reserves.

I agree its a bummer, but most of the humans couldn't match up to most of the Justice Leaguers. But Tenshinhan or Kuririn could probably take MM, and all of them could take Batman.

Actually I have one quick question regarding lightspeed travel and Goku which can definitely be answered with any debate: When speaking about the Instant Transmition, does Goku really state that he can move at the speed of light or is this a dub error?

This is kinda revalent with this topic because it could be used during a scurmish although I do recall that it can take up a lot of his power.

Thanks. In a discussion like this, you need to know what the characters can and cannot do and them be in full agreement.

I'm seeing a lot about the JLA of the DC universe, but IMHO the Z Senshi would have a tougher time with the characters in the Marvel universe.

Just think about it, Professor X, symbiotes, and the Devil himself are only a few examples of a pain in the ass that Martial Arts can take on for just so long. Now I'm not turning my back on my boys of the 7th century, but I'm just trying to be logical.

And what about Spawn, why haven't we heard of Spawn lately?

Tenshinhan used "Rekka Kōsoku-ken" Light-Speed Fury Punch! This is an attack that is as fast as light.

Well, the Marvel heavy hitters wouldn't be any different from DC's heavy hitters. Characters like Thanos, Surfer and Thor would get beat by the Z Senshi.

Okay, then look at it a different way. Dragonball was originally a manga which is nother word for comic book. Many people who read comic book have compared and mentally pitted combatants against each other. This is even something that the writers and creators themselves have done. Such as here and here.

I think that the reason Justice League and DC characters are being used more is the fact that they have more mainstream and well-known God-like characters than Marvel. But that doesn't mean that there are God-like characters in Marvel, it's just that we may not know well enough to compare them to the Z-fighters.

The Surfer NEEDS his board to travel the galaxy. Goku can use Shunkan Idou to travel anywhere instantaneously.

As for Goku vs Superman, Goku wins. I have seen Superman beat down to many times in his comics to believe that he is a match for Goku. Superman was beat down by some really weak characters if you ask me.

Thanks for using an augmented Thanos, especially with the Soul Gems. Thanos was God almighty with the Infinity Gauntlet but I can use a Dragonball GT Goku with the seven Dragonballs inside him. Goku was literally Omnipotent, I think.

Silver Surfer is overrated, Goku's abilities are far greater than his. Surfer is not just going to grab a Saiya-jin who fights at super speed all the time. Surfer doesn't even fight at super speed like the Z Senshi does. The Power Cosmic is nothing compared to Ki in Dragonball. The Z Senshi has more destructive power.

I like Goku a thousand times more than I do Superman, but I'm not so blinded by fanboyism that I will refute logical evidence that proves Goku can't beat him. However unfortunate that may be.

Just because Goku can't beat Superman doesn't make him any less cool or interesting. Just let it go man.
