It's always good to have a physical version if you ask me. You never know if they might take it off Hulu. :P

If an apocalypse happens, and all you have is a generator, a DVD player, and your Blue Bricks, you'll be glad that you chose the physical release.

I just noticed that a lot of dubs chose older singers to sing some of the Dragon Ball songs. Like, besides the LATAM dub, most of the dubs in Europe had a singer that sounded older singing "Makufushigi Adventure". I kinda like it. I also like that the Latin American Spanish version of "We Gotta Power", or "El Poder Nuestro Es", sounded like it had an older person singing it. I don't know what it is, but I just like it.

This post reminded me of the Casa Bontio episode of South Park.

Might make a separate thread touting my experience after the first arc but I decided to rewatch all of DB from the start but this time in Japanese for the first time! And right of the bat I must say Nozawa Kid Goku is amazing. I was expecting similar to Goten but it's actually different! (less than 15 mins in the 1st episode but yeah thought I'd share :P ).

Nope, she has a distinct voice for each character. According to those that worked with her, they all come to her naturally. Although as time goes on, they do bleed into each other from time to time. That's probably just a byproduct of voicing so many characters, Sabat's voices bleed into one another too.

Sabat doea bleed a lot but I had know Idea he was ALA from FMA until I read credits".

But yeah Nozawa is amazing. Just going off Super but the only voice of hers I don't like is Adult Gohan's. That's the only one I'm most apprehensive about but it's gonna be a while till I get there anyway!

Her performance in Kai or Super isn't indicative of her voices from DB, DBZ, and DBGT. Nozawa's performance is nowhere near as good as it used to be, not because she's less talented, she's just older now, she's past her prime. Her "Gohan Voice" from the old days is every bit as good as Goku's voice.

I wish Kame-Sennin fought Piccolo as himself rather than Jackie Chun.

Presumably the fact that Kame'sennin had abandoned the disguise by the time Piccolo pops up.

Sure thing, I honestly thought that that post was a joke in the first place. It was so obvious to me that I didn't realize any elaboration was needed.

Does anyone here notice how buff Goku's freakin' neck is when he's talking to 2nd Form Cell. It's that episode where he's going to rescue Tenshinhan and Piccolo. Like, seriously, the dude looks like he spent hours just lifting weights with his neck. Strange thing is, it looks pretty cool .

Do Golden Frieza and Hit possess god ki? I don't think it's ever stated one way or another.

If they don't... why doesn't anyone remark on how "unreal" their power/ki is? Or do they? I vaguely remember.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

They probably don't, but it's never explained one way or the other.
