I have ACTUALLY read Superman's comics (even JLA), and nothing he has done suggests that he is on Goku's level.

I Black Mist can be the moderator here and will try to amend this bloodbath. Let us stray away from DC and maybe to Marvel. Wlverine could deafeat all the Z senshu sue to his healing factor though not all at once but eventualy he would be the only one standing in most fights.

That could be argued, but if so then it's not a big deal because so was Thanos.

Silver Surfer is overrated, Goku's abilities are far greater than his. Surfer is not just going to grab a Saiya-jin who fights at super speed all the time. Surfer doesn't even fight at super speed like the Z Senshi does. The Power Cosmic is nothing compared to Ki in Dragonball. The Z Senshi has more destructive power.

...you do know that it's stated that the Silver Surfer can utilize his surfboard to attain multiples of the speed of light, right? He just flies at speeds considerably slower within the layers of a planet's atmosphere. Plus comparing the Power Cosmic to ki is kinda like comparing a residental powerline to a lightning bolt.

Anyway, I digress. I've entered into a comic book vs. DragonBall thread, so now my head explodes.

I'm not going to repost everything that has been said in this forum. But how can you possibly rebute things like how Sperman can lift so many trillion tons or whatever it was and GT Goku has trouble lifting a building.

The irony in all this arguing is that Goku really wouldn't be upset if he was beaten. He'd happily congratulate Silver Surfer or Superman or whoever it was. Then he'd gladly go back to his training to get stronger, being happy with a new challenge.

Yeah, Thanos and Goku at one time became omnipotent. I rather stay away from augmented characters and use their true abilities.

I am aware of Surfer traveling above lightspeed ON his board. Are you aware that the Z Senshi can FIGHT at lightspeed? The Power Cosmic used by Surfer is nowhere near the level of power used by Dragonball.

I'm not going to repost everything that has been said in this forum. But how can you possibly rebute things like how Sperman can lift so many trillion tons or whatever it was and GT Goku has trouble lifting a building.

Do you understand that Superman has been beat by beings who could never lift as much as him? Goku's strength feats are always in his hitting power (melee attacks). If you are in a fight, hitting power is the most important not lifting feats.

From the manga, volume 40, page 139: " I circled the globe a few dozen times... and even took a nap."

That could be as many as 24-36 times around the globe. No time or speed was given, that is simply speculation on your part.

Come on dude, give it up. Yeah, Silver Surfer has been knocked out. So has nearly *every* other Superhero/villain. Need I bring up Goku getting his ass handed to him in nearly every arc/movie/special?

The truth of the matter is this: The character who would win is based on who would write the crossover. If Toriyama wrote it, Goku would win. If Stan Lee and Jack Kirby wrote it, Silver Surfer would win.

In the end, who gives a damn? They're both mind-numbingly powerful.
