On IMDB BoG has a 7.3 from 19,500 votes and RoF has a 7.5 from 13,100 votes.

On Myanimelist BoG has a 7.6 from 43,000 votes and RoF has a 7.6 from 23,000 votes.

On Rotten Tomatoes BoG has a 80% audience score and a 8.2 from 5,100 votes and RoF has a 85% audience score and a 8.4 from 9,300 votes.

The scores are pretty much the same or better amongst thousands of voters for RoF.

Resurrection F was better than Battle of Gods in many more ways than one.

Battle of Gods was better in how it expanded the universe with mention of how there were 12 universes but that line could have been removed and it wouldn't have affected the movie in anyway.

Resurrection F didn't exactly have a great story but it was still better than Battle of Gods which had so little story that the entire middle section of the movie was a Pilaf subplot and party gags.

Totally agree, BOG is the worst DB movie.
ROF has more action, secondaries participation, better gags, more variety...

Well, those titles were indeed real.

Here's a rough translation of 59's summary, brought to you by drawing some of the kanji into electronic dictionaries (which was kind of a nice exercise).

"The future Zamasu was adorned with Potara only Kaioshin are qualified to wear, so Goku and the others judge that the Kaioshin of Universe 10 Gowasu's life may be in danger. They quickly head toward Universe 10."

And 60:

"Beerus, having obtained proof of Zamasu's plan to murder Gowasu, destroys Zamasu. Although Zamasu's disappearance should ensure the tranquility of the future, Trunks, who can't shake an uneasy feeling, says he'll return to make sure."

Keep in mind this is the speedsub version of summary translations.

That is not how the timelines work. Killing Zamasu in the present does absolutely nothing for the future. We've known that since Multi-verse time travel was explained.

Well well well...looking at those summaries, some things to look forward to:

Episode 58 doesn't reveal much we didn't already know (talks about how Gokuu and co. went to the future, but returned to the present after being saved by Yajirobe), and Zamasu going to ask Zunou about the Super Dragon Balls. The second summary additionally talks about Gokuu and others setting off to Universe 10 to save Gowasu.

Episode 59 mentions again about Gokuu and pals going to Universe 10, since they feel that Gowasu's life is in danger due to Zamasu possessing the green Kaioushin earring in the future.

Episode 60 says that Beerus destroys Zamasu! They think this means that the Zamasu in the future should also disappear since the present one was killed, and Trunks heads off to the future to confirm if that's true.

Oh, man...seems like there's some exciting stuff coming up!

Edit: looks like they were more thoroughly translated by Herms while I was excitedly looking them over. And I'm also wondering how the destroying present Zamasu affecting future Zamasu will work...I think many of us are working off the assumption that the Zamasu in the future is the one from the main timeline, and traveled to Trunks' future using the time ring...but if Beerus kills him before he departs, how can he be there? Unless the one in the future actually is the Zamasu from that timeline, but then his hatred for Gokuu would have to be explained somehow since they never met...ugh, every time it seems like we're making some progress with this mystery, even more questions are brought up

Says Trunks checks his future...so yeah...looks like we might have some bullshit continuity errors. But let's see if that remains to be the case.

Omg lol my mind is boggled thinking about that because I want to know what Zamasu wishes for then since obviously it isn't immortality if Beerus can destroy him. I'm also more curious about the scene in ep 58 preview now too where it shows a puzzled looking Goku with a dark background

Hold up....they seriously just gave away the fact that Beerus killed Present day Zamasu? Why?

Why on Earth would they spoil something significant like that for people? Thank a lot Japan, I just wanted to have a little idea of what to look forward to but now you've completely ruined what could have been a big surprise. Gowasu being murdered was more than we needed to know even if we could have guessed that but there was no need for them to spoil Zamasu's death.
