Nope, "pro mode" is simply different visuals settings for when you play the game on a PS4 Pro.

That's what I am afraid off, that the story from Xv1 will transfer unchanged, but with some added bits.

Not to be offensive, but this has already been said multiple times. The story is not the same. There will be villains from the movies being placed into the main timeline, not the same "power up villain to alter history" as before.

No, the story won't be the exact same. We've already been told by Hirano though that the focus for XV2 is new players, and that those who played the original will find it weaker. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if, despite the little tweaks like movie villains being sprinkled in, we're still following the same plot to end with Towa and Mira (and maybe Demigra).

I'm fine with whatever they plan to reuse but I just hope Demigra doesn't return. They can do as they please but not bring back a character that was dead just to bring him back to be exactly the same. Unless his new form is in but I don't think it well be then again who really knows.

I think he can come back, but just not as the focus. Like maybe a bonus mission like Broly was, or maybe as a stepping stone in the new game. He shouldn't reclaim the lead villain role. I'd love to see his new form in the game as it's way better than that ugly ass form he got in the last game.

2. There's probably a 90% chance his new form won't make it in unless they happened to have the design laying around.

I like his other form from the first game better than the Heroes one. The latter doesn't really fit his Demon God self; it would be better on his younger variant.

Speaking of his younger variant they could do something with that and include him in the story. He can be in the game as a PQ but nothing at all to do with a major point of the story.

Anyway, I found a couple articles that say Rosé Black was confirmed for DLC (Google it, you'll find them). I don't know whether this is actually true or not, though.

It is not confirmed as DLC. They said that if they receive enough support it would launch him as a possible DLC, but it is what they say with every character that is not in the game.

The only thing that has been confirmed is Base Goku Black will be released as DLC later to those who didn't pre-order. Nothing yet on SSJ Pink.

I'm sure it would be DLC at some point. It sounds like they plan on doing a lot for this game so that the next one XV3 will be in development for a longer time so they can make bigger changes. Rose firm has to be in this game I wouldn't see a point to them adding him and Super version trunks without there being a valid point to it.

That's most definitely the case. If he had been confirmed a lot more people would've been reporting on this big news by now.

What's really a damn shame is nowadays all the cool what-if's go to the arcade games and the console fighting games seem to get jack diddly squat... When was the last time we got a what-if in a fighting game? Raging Blast 2?

That depends. Super Saiyan Bardock is a what-if, right? He got that in Xenoverse (damn weird that's the only one we got). And would you count the "villainous" characters?
