I think the next arc will start in January too and we'll get a pre arc before then.

Do you have a link as to where it stated that Trunks arc was finished in February?

No way to know for sure, but I'd think TOEI at least have broad outlines for the next arc. December or January would be a good time to expect the Future Trunks arc to end. If there is going to be an Omniversal Tournament I'm hoping we will get another strong arc (on par with this one) before that though. I don't want this arc to potentially be all Super is remembered for.

If there's another arc then its being worked on as we speak and if Toei/Toriyama need more time we'll have poorly written mini filler arcs.
