David Wald would be my pick to voice Hit. He voice Duke Togo in the Golgo 13 TV series and has done voice work for Funimation before. Since he already voice one awesome assassin, he can do another one .

I see nothing wrong with using Black Goku. Goku Black sounds incredibly awkward to us native English speakers (or at least it will until FUNi potentially provides an interesting explanation for it).

Goku Black sounds cooler imo. Also, saying 'Black' and 'Dark' in front of stuff i kind of played out, and I think them referring to Black as Black is less awkward than having to say 'Black Goku' every time to avoid confusion.

But they could do exactly what they do in the Japanese version, which is have his official name as "Black Goku" and refer to him as "Black" in the show. Seems like an easy change, but I won't mind them using Goku Black if there's a good reason why the adjective comes after the noun.

I just hope they tone down Goku's idiocy. Super Goku really does seem like TFS Goku at times.

FWIW, I think Goku Black sounds a lot cooler than Black Goku, and it helps sidestep anything racial.

If anything FUNi will likely add more of their extra odd line jokes here and there. Tbh I don't want them to tone down anything, I want a faithful adaptation to the Japanese, if Goku's idiotic then so be it.

I'd like for someone else to voice act Black, unlike the Japanese version, the Son family and Goku's evil counterparts aren't all voiced by the same person doing variations on the same vocal performance. Plus I don't see Schemmel doing an evil Goku voice without it sounding generic as fuck. Black needs to get voiced similar to Ayer's Freeza, soft-spoken and polite.

Thing is though, Goku Black definitely seems like it's supposed to be Goku in some other form of some sort. Compared to Goku's father and his offspring, it makes a lot more sense for Black to share his voice. If we didn't already have Nozawa voicing the family members, it wouldn't even be an issue now, IMO.
