Toyotaro is definitely telling a better flashback of Trunks vs Dabra, than the anime did, which really pisses me off.
And Black was observing it the whole time.. maybe he went to Earth to kill off Kaioshin, but then saw it was already happening.

Then, Trunks turns SSJ2 and finishes him. It's probably just black commenting on how he's enjoying the situation, since no Kaioshin = no Beerus.

Yes I have been enjoying it myself. It is very nice to have different subsets and paths in the stories between anime to manga. I actually appreciate the manga more, even though it drives people nuts with Vegeta 10%. I feel everything else in the manga has been far better explained, but that's my subjective opinion.

I personally think that it was stupid for Toriyama to give them notes that said something to the effect of "Give Goku a new move that makes him 10x stronger than Vegeta" was stupid to begin with

We don't know this.

We can infer it. When we look at the show and the manga throughout, it's apparent that they're both finding different ways to meet the same story criteria. We also know that Toriyama is creating the major plot points. Given that, and the criteria that both Goku x Hit fights met, we can safely assume that it was a part of Toriyama's notes.

I suppose it depends on if those pages take place shortly before Black made his presence known or not. The manga still has Trunks say he's fought Black for roughly a year before he sought help from the past. So if this is only a bit before Black and Trunks first clashed, then Bobbidi should have shown up around 8 years after Trunks defeated Cell.

If Black is watching that battle, but goes off to do other things before he comes back to Earth, then there's no way to tell unless the story gives us a further indicator.

So Kaioshin's death is probably what makes Trunks train so hard, since he's apparently weaker than Dabura in the flashback. I also wonder if Toyo is going to give Trunks the Z Sword

We just passed the typical cutoff for the Korean leaks a while ago. So I wouldn't expect the chapter to pop up until tomorrow. We could still get a few pictures like the Future "Boo" Arc flashback that was already posted though from Japanese sources tonight.

Last chapter, they seemed to give Toyotaro more pages to work with. It's possible that this will give him enough breathing room to avoid another rushed job.
