I feel like Black doesn't have a problem with killing anybody that gets in his way, God or Mortal. If Zamasu kills Gowasu, then its safe to say he doesn't either to get what he wants. I honestly think Black will end up turning on Zamasu too.Pannaliciour wrote:Why would he kill Gods? EDIT: People on other media are still saying that Black indeed killed all Kaioshin and Hakaishin from all universes, I still think it's absurd, but let's see...

Wow, he's only dropped below his previous page count once and I'd wager to say that's because he didn't have enough material to drag it out with what he's given. His art and getting out more pages every month is increasing at a pretty fast rate to me, I wonder if he has a limit page count.Chelentano wrote:This is the page count so far:Xeztin wrote:I think he might have broke 40 somewhere he's definitely pumping out more as he goes.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:

So Black was observing and knew the destruction of the Kaioshins meant no Beerus? I love it. But what about Elder Kaioshin? I wonder if Toyotaro will explain that... Maybe Black breaks the Elder Kaioshin from the Z-Sword himself and kills him?

Beerus is only tied to Kaioshin, not the others. The anime and manga both said Beerus and Kaioshin are a set. The whole "every Kaioshin of the universe must die" thing seems to be fan mistakes.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
We've seen Future Trunks' current sword and it does not resemble it. He shouldn't be able to have it after his death, seeing as he can't go to the Kaioshin Realm on his own.OLKv3 wrote:So Kaioshin's death is probably what makes Trunks train so hard, since he's apparently weaker than Dabura in the flashback. I also wonder if Toyo is going to give Trunks the Z Sword

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
"Kaioshin" is not inherently singular or plural. It can be a single Kaioshin, or it can be all active Kaioshin. It depends on if there's other context provided, which there really hasn't been. The simple fact of the matter is that we have no idea which is correct, because the Elder Kaioshin is kind of an anomaly here in our main timeline, and every other Universe or Timeline we've seen since Beerus' introduction has only shown one Kaioshin for whatever reason.OLKv3 wrote:Beerus is only tied to Kaioshin, not the others. Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
They only focus on the little short Kaioshin that we know. Both the anime and manga only have Beerus mention him. Combined with the whole thing of "set" being used, it feels fair to say they only mean East Kaioshin and Elder Kai has no bearing on itTheDevilsCorpse wrote:"Kaioshin" is not inherently singular or plural. Wasn't there 4 Kaioshin at one point in U6 or was that something the anime added?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:"Kaioshin" is not inherently singular or plural. Why I use "Geran" instead of "Jiren"

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Again, because he's the only standard issue Kaioshin we see. We have no idea how the Elder Kaioshin factors into this. Did he lose his official Kaioshin status once he was sealed in the sword? Did he regain said status once released? Or is he only working in an unofficial mentor role now? After all, he was the East Kaioshin from 15 generations ago, and thus was officially replaced by the current one in the series.OLKv3 wrote:They only focus on the little short Kaioshin that we know. Since none of the other Universes show more than one Kaioshin at a time (questionable examples mentioned in the reply below excluded), they don't offer any clarity on the matter. Thus, until something addresses this issue, we don't know for certain what the intention is with this link.
The manga had 4 Kaioshin (and a Dai Kaioshin) against Boo in Universe 7. We've never had more than one Kaioshin in any of the other Universes though, outside of Zamasu's temporary promotion (and maybe whatever is going on with Black, since he can use the Time Ring. Do you only need a Potara to qualify for that?),Helios518 wrote:Wasn't there 4 Kaioshin at one point in U6 or was that something the anime added?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
In addition to what TheDevilsCorpse said, it just doesn't logically make sense for Beerus to have only been tied to East Kaioushin. Given everything indicated, the universes only have a single Hakaishin, with Beerus having been that Hakaishin since at least Rou Kaioushin's era. Nothing suggests that there were five, and it doesn't make any sense for Beerus to always be tied to just East Kaioushin, since he's not anything special (if Beerus were to be tied to just one, it'd make the most sense for it to be the Dai Kaioushin). As such, the connection makes the most sense if it's all the "active" Kaioushin connected with Beerus.OLKv3 wrote:ryou766 wrote:So Black was observing and knew the destruction of the Kaioshins meant no Beerus? Rou Kaioushin, being sealed away and subsequently replaced over the generations, was no longer connected to Beerus as a result.

Chapter 16 leaks are out. Shows Trunks and Supreme Kai VS Dabra.
EDIT: wait am I late? Yeah I am WHOOPS. I apologize.
I am REALLY liking how Toyotaro always provides a little more scenarios that the anime sets up. Also battle damage is greatly missed in the show.

Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.

I really like how Trunks appears in the manga, doesn't look too young. Plus, he's back in his black tank in the flashback.. Fuck yes.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Toyotaro's art looks really damn good from these leaks. The last chapter looked kind of rushed at times but this looks pretty great.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I'm really liking how Toyotaro is adding more depth to the story. But that's expected from being a huge fanatic himself.
