Add a character from other Media

I've not really seen any threads discussing this sort of thing.

Basically if you could have any character from any other form of media who would it be? and why would you want them in dragonball?


I'll give mine later to build up some dramatic suspense......or maybe I haven't decided yet.

My personal pick would be Tapion.

I would have replaced Gohan from canon with the version of him that died against the Androids in the future like having the two suddenly switch places just before the latter would have died and of also having the GT Gohan that can go Super Saiyan 4 come to the aid of his alternate counterpart and their friends and family during the battle against Beerus.

P. S. The time of when the switch would have occured would be of just when Kid Gohan had stood up against Vegeta to defend Goku’s honor during the end of the Frieza Saga. So that the two of the present and future timelines would be much better off.

I'd love to see Janemba integrated some way in the official story. His abilities are way too unique and unorthodox to be wasted in a 50 minute fluff mini-movie.

So wait, is it a guideline that the character has to be from DB (or at least Toriyama), or can it be anyone from anything?

If it's the former, my pick would definitely be Jiya and Sachie-chan (and any supporting characters that might be needed from their stories) from the two one-shots that Toriyama did with Katsura. Sachie-chan would definitely be a fun addition, and Jiya would fit right in with the Galactic Patrol.

If it's the latter, I wouldn't want him as a permanent addition, but just for a one-shot style story or maybe an arc (if it could be made to work), I'd vote for Luffy or some of the other One Piece gang.

Dragon Ball is a very particular series with a very particular tone. I'll say that I've always wanted a DB/DC crossover, but it would take some kind of genius to make that work.
