Yeah, I'm staying with project too. Problem is, one of the main focuses is the FTP server which I know absolutely nothing about...

Well, I'd like to help if I can. I know i haven't helped any earlier, but I can sing pretty well (I have the role of Jean Valjean in my school's production of Les Misrables) and I might be able to do some lines if necessary. If someone wants help with sound, I can do something. If there's any help needed, just PM me.

Well it's fantastic to know you haven't given up on this Kaboom, if you need me for anything in the next three weeks, let me know as I have easter break... and boy I plan to do something constructive as well as have fun. Hope to see more updates soon enough!

Yeah, that's the plan. Once we have a Goku, I'm going to set folks to working with Conan on his trailer (If he's still up for that), while I get the script 100% done and some sort of guide put together for recording.

Good to know. We can store the footage in separate places to begin with, but ultimately, we're going to need someone with enough space to hold the entire finished product, and to make DVDs.

I'm sure I'll get the FTP thing figured out on my own before long.

Don't forget to credit Jullian with the English Head Cha La lyrics, as I adapted the song from his translation. Also, I actually think I can do Rasin, my main concern was that his voice would hurt my throat too much, but I can handle a few lines.

Animethon is in August. Only thing is, it's a pretty far journey (It's in Edmonton, Alberta. Where I live =P)

Yeah, that's the plan. Once we have a Goku, I'm going to set folks to working with Conan on his trailer (If he's still up for that), while I get the script 100% done and some sort of guide put together for recording.

.....To be honest, I think that's a bad idea, waiting for Goku's VA. Why can't the voice actors just start the trailer right now? Or, at the very least, do the trailer during recording? (I don't think filmmakers do that, make the trailer before the movie exists. At least not the teaser)

Well... you're probably right, with the trailer. I think I will indeed get in touch with Conan and get him rolling on that, probably tomorrow. Recording for the trailer was sort of supposed to be practice for the VAs, more than anything.

As for the recording for the actual movie, I have something special in the works that will really help make and keep things organized and even a tad more fun. Stay tuned on that.

Evidently, I return. First post since my temp. ban, thanks for bringing me back aboard, Mike! Now, on topic; I've finished a second "Demo" of the trailer with that JKD-kid's freakishly awesome narrating voice and my own lines implemented with the rest covered my timed subtitles. I'll post it in the AMV area once I've uploaded it to YouTube, in the mean time, everyone sending me recordings wouldn't be a bad idea. I've already PMed details on how to email me to all those who're cast for the fandub and set to record for the trailer. So far, all I've gotten in reply has been an email from Kirbopher, and that wasn't even his trailer lines...just his Goku audition stuff (he may've misunderstood). As far as I myself go, I may need to get a new mic (the one I have now is starting to make inexplicable static sounds when I'm recording), as well as wait out on who's chosen to be Goku to do further work on the trailer. Alas, our saga of dubbing a DBZ movie that has more English dubs than any other continues.

Hey, I'll definitely be sticking with the project. After getting so far with it, I'd rather not just put it on "hold". We'd most likely never get it done then, like so many other fandubs.

I was waiting for the Goku VA to be picked first before, but if you guys want, I'll get to work now on my Kuririn lines for the trailer and then send them to Conan. ^_^ Hopefully the other VAs will as well, and we can get most of the work on the trailer done.

Okay, folks! Announcements! Now is when things start to pick up again!

First off, after many months, I have a sexy new avatar! Spider-Man 2099 FTW! Huzzah!

We have ourselves a Goku! omegacw has managed to claim the coveted role! Thank you to everyone who tried out!

Y'all know what you have to do now? You have to record yourselves for a trailer, that's what y'all gotta do! Not only will it be a nice way to keep and spread interest in the project, but it will also be a nice way to practice and hone your "l337 VAing ski11z."

As I'm sure many of you already know, Conan the SSj is making and has full creative control over the trailer, so all directions and answers concerning the trailer will come from him. I believe he said he already did some PMing about it.

In the meantime, I'll be (really) finishing the final script, pestering Shinpan about the poster, getting an FTP server or two set up, and trying to make a visual recording guide for the actual movie.

That's okay. Thank you for your hard work. I'm here for help if you need it; I'm sure I can help dig up a decent song or two... which reminds me, think we could use this song anywheres? It's from a game, I think.

E to the 'DIT: Oh, that's right. It's from Advent Rising, a game I'm craving at the moment. They've got some other neat bgm and themes on the official site, including some good battle-themed bgm, that we might be able to use. Though I wonder if I should write them or something, or e-mail...

The script is right here, hence that's where your lines can be found. I'll PM you my email contact info, as I've done with every other member scripted to voice something for the trailer. Second demo of my trailer is coming soon you guys, be looking forward.
