In general, It wasn't as bad as I thought.

Some of the acting seemed more natural and some seemed a bit flat. Trunks' voice will need to be changed eventually because it sounds too similar to his teen self and will clash when both appear. The voice of Boo, Videl and Chichi were new and in need of getting used to.

I noticed two mistakes: they just mentioned the half year after Boo because of the wish but didn't say further time passed and, at the end, after Kame Sennin shenanigans, the narrator didn't say anything.

The opening music wasn't bad, some iffy parts but it ended well. Japanese ending is very

You probably could ask Gowasu about the episode but he'd be all over Kamitube nowadays

There was no narrator after Kamesen'nin in the first episode in the Japanese version either. Actually in most episodes there is no narrator at the end.

In this one there is, he says the "elsewhere in the Universe"-esque line.

EDIT: Wait, you're right. It was said in the prologue of episode two.

Only saw the very end. What the heck did they call Kaio in the preview?

On the other hand, they used Kaioshin during the episode. If they are doing that I hope they'll use Kaibe as North Kaio's name and use Kaio as the race/title/job :P

I was (pleasently) surprised when they did, wasn't expecting at all, and even other terms such as "zeni" for currency. Overall it was good, no major errors I can complain about.

Aparently another episode will run tomorrow morning.

Yeah, other than the old dubbisms (not a problem, they are looking for consistency with Z) and the improv (which was quite intelligently placed in this episode) it looks like we have quite a faithful translation.

Oh God, I really like the Opening and the polemic "DEUS" scream. I get all fired up!
Since I find the original version to be bad and one of the worst opening songs this franchise ever had, I didn't expect something so addicting from our dub.

Overall, this was much better than i thought.
The eyectaches, the ending, the next episode preview + Feist-Nozawa, the terms Kaioshin and Zeni making the cut, all of this caught me off guard.
Unbelievable.

Also, I loved the Narrator, Chichi and Satan new voices. They did a great job!
Still not sure about Videl, but since DBS Videl is just a housewife without any personality it may fit.

Spniola lost his touch as Goten, but he killed it as Beerus. I love it.
Whis needed a less macho voice, but doesn't seem to be too bad.

My only complaint like everyone is Kid Trunks voice. I could get used to it, but since FT Trunks is coming...

Anyway looks like Feist acknowledged his flaws. This was posted on facebook:
Olá fãs. Vou fazer por mudar a voz do Trunks um bocado. Sim, ainda consigo!!! Hahahahaha! Obrigado pela dica. Quanto ao genérico, vou pedir para regravar. Nenhum de nós sabia que a minha voz ia ficar tão evidente. Assim sendo, e evidente por evidente, vou evidenciar. Abraço a todos. Henrique Feist e obg!!

He acknowledges that the final version of the Opening didn't turn out like they thought, so he will ask to record it again, and he also says he will try to do his Kid Trunks voice for Kid Trunks (he's using his Adult Trunks voice to dub him right now). Feist barely dubbed anything for years, so he is rusty.

In the end he thanks everyone for the tips.

Honestly, having not really heard the old voices of the Portugese dub, I think that Trunks' voice isn't THAT bad, especially after I got used to the new young Trunks voice in DBZ Kai ( https://youtu.be/8dQZUMOODEs?t=383 ) . He could just lower the voice for Future Trunks and keep this one.

He really can't, because if he does that it'll become his regular Goku voice.

I don't really agree with much. I know, opinions, but allow me anyway...

I love Chouzetsu Dynamic so you saying it's a bad song really baffles me. I understand not liking the vocals or the melody but I think there's no way it is a "bad" song, it sounds good all around. The only part they arguably did better was the ending but even so it's still a dubbing of an actual song, it wasn't going to be better anyways. I kinda get why they made the random shouts but they are a bit distracting and some parts seem like they missed the tempo.

Apparently, they decided on vocalizing the eyecatches. Interesting, I guess. First time we got any variation of "Hi, I'm Goku" as well

I like them using zeni and "kaoshin" but if that's their excuse of being true to the original, then it's really pathetic since they didn't man up and drop the dubisms, which they should have.

I don'tknow who does Boo and Kaiou's voice but they sound really similar and weird. Is it Rui de Sá? He does the narrator and Mister Satan. Isn't Goten played by a different actor this time around, he doesn't sound like Goten but I might be misremembering. Beers' voice isn't as good as Kouichi Yamadera's but it has grown a bit on me.

I'm curious to hear Whis in the episode Vegeta wants to train with him. In this episode he called Beers "my little friend" so this means they are completely insane.

Also, João Loy... What kind of Vegeta is he trying to portray?

This episode really suffered from the lack of more voice actors. They should've hired more and this will stand out like a sore thumb as we continue on.

About Feist's post... yeaah, I'd rather voice actors not being buddy-buddy with the fans like that. Ok, so he probably didn't know Trunks would return later (even though someone should have known and told him) and will change the voice a bit but he didn't know how the song ended up sounding like? That doesn't seem very professional, didn't the sound director or whoever told him his voice would be the "lead"? Will they change their performance everytime the fans tell them the mistakes or what they prefer instead of just doing their jobs right the first time?

I feel that things then get half-assed and some fans also get obnoxious with the close proximity.

-Episode 2-

Liked it.
Finally we heard Whis more. Vala is doing a good job.

I liked how they took the chance to use vocals for the eyecatch. I assume they only showed one, because both were the same.

Still:
- The voice for Kaio is not a good choice. It would be perfect for Majin Buu and Yajirobe.
- Vegeta's jokes while he was training were stupid and unnecessary.

Weekends will have a more special taste from now on. 2 new dubbed episodes of super and 1 new japanese episode.
