I'd reluctantly keep the U6 tournament even if it doesn't hold a candle to what Beerus teased about the multiverse at the end of the BoG movie. We got a big bear who did nothing, another Freeza, another goddamn Super Saiyan, another Beerus, basically another Whis with only Magetta and Hit being somewhat worthwhile additions.

We certainly didn't need the unholy trinity of 2015 shit known as Resurrection F the movie, Super BoG and Super F though. Hell, the Super manga ditched F and it lost absolutely nothing of value because of it.

I enjoyed the Resurrection 'F' Arc a lot. I haven't seen the film, but I don't understand the hate.

It's my least favorite Dragon Ball thing for a few reasons. It does nothing interesting at all with Freeza, he's not even a worthwhile physical threat to anyone. Retconning Goku's arc from BoG, retconning Goku & Vegeta's cooperation from the Boo Saga then pointing out all of these things and then promptly doing nothing with them. The movie literally ends with the protagonists acknowledging their flaws then laugh off potential development.

I made a 25 chapter rewrite of that story just to create a version of F that sucks less than the movie & arc.

It showed how much potential Freeza has if he trains, and that he's not afraid of Super Saiyans anymore.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Goku's arc."
Battle of Gods already retconned Vegeta's personality. F was consistent, at least.
There's almost no development to be had. I thought everyone oh-so-loved reckless Goku.

But this isn't a debate thread. Far from it.

Yes it did. It's the equivalent of the story begining at DBZ/Saiyan Arc and ditching all 120ish chapters prior.
