Any word on the system requirements for PC? I know the last one (officially) needed a 64-bit system officially but I got it running on my 32-bit one just fine.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Goku wasn't born a prodigy, he was born a low-class warrior & became one through his hard work. Vegeta was born a super elite, but that wasn't nearly enough to make him a Super Saiyan, he also reached that level because of his hard work as well. The other Saiyans didn't train with a Kaio, in a gravity room, or inside the RoSaT, and they didn't have senzu or a healer around to repeatedly bring them back from the bring of death. Both Goku & Vegeta trained the hell out of them & abused the Saiyans' ability to become stronger after being revived from the bring of death with special means that the other Saiyans didn't have, to the point that they milked all of the power they could get from that ability. Then they managed to become Super Saiyans, and through even more intense training, they mastered & surpassed Super Saiyan. The whole point was that Goku & Vegeta reached the level they did in the end of the series because of their hard work, not because they were born gifted. Even Bardock, after he survived the explosion of Planet Vegeta & was sent back to the past, received a power-up from getting brought back from the bring of death, and through his fight with Chilled, he became a Super Saiyan. Even though he was also born a low-class warrior, he became stronger by fighting throughout his whole life, and eventually managed to become a Super Saiyan as well.HeroR wrote:That is just what Freeza thinks and it isn't reflective within the series itself since the only two Saiyans to break the limit are the Saiyan Prince and the prodigy Goku, and their hybrid descendants.
Bardock, Goku, and Vegeta weren't born special (well, Vegeta was, but not that special), they became special. Broli was born special, and Gohan, Goten, and Trunks were also born special because they are Saiyan/Earthling hybrids.
Toriyama was talking about reviving Bardock with the Dragon Balls, while Mira & Towa not only brainwashed him, they made him even stronger through their magic. In DBO, Bardock was probably useful for their research since he was Goku's father, and they were collecting Goku's DNA throughout time in order to make Mira stronger. In DBH, they seem to have abducted Bardock from the EoB continuity, since he can become a Super Saiyan, and then he even manages to even become a Super Saiyan 3. So, in these two continuities, they had very good reasons to take Bardock out of all people. Let's wait to see their goals & reasons first in XV2 as well, instead of assuming that they randomly picked Bardock because he is a cool character, even though he is a weakling.Going by Toriyama's word, reviving Bardock would be pointless since he would be weakling.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I still have to pay the rest of the Digital Deluxe edition off, I'm hoping for an Xbox One Open Beta but I know that'll not happen.
And this roster thing grinds my gears, I wouldn't mind if they just put the time breakers as alternate variations instead of character slots. It looks more lazy than, just having a few new characters, really lazy they put them in character slots to make the roster look like there is lots of new characters.

Really hoping they have Gohan's long hair as an hair style... They only had yumcha's hair for long hair besides Trunks/Android 17's.

I get the feeling that this game is going to get delayed. The beta is coming out so close to the release date. What if they encounter some really bad server issues? Will they really be able to fix that prior to the game's release in such a short amount of time?

No, they'll release it anyway and fix it with a patch later on, like what usually happens in this industry. Beta's this day and age are pretty much just demo's at this point...Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:I get the feeling that this game is going to get delayed. Ahh yes. How I love buggy server issues during a game's release. Jeez, remember XV1's server issues when that game came out? What a mess. It's probably going to happen to this game as well.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:No, they'll release it anyway and fix it with a patch later on, like what usually happens in this industry. Well I don't personally recall having any major server issues with the launch of XV1. All we can really do is hope that things work smoothly for everyone on all platforms come launch day for XV2.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:Ahh yes. I encountered problems such as constantly getting kicked from a lobby right after entering it, random disconnections from the hub world and being sent back to the title screen. It was like this for the first couple of weeks of the game's release. But yeah, let's hope for things to work out smoothly this time around.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:Well I don't personally recall having any major server issues with the launch of XV1. Damn, that sucks. I started playing XV1 the very second the game went live on PS4, never experienced anything like that. Hopefully I have the same luck with this game as I did with the first.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:I encountered problems such as constantly getting kicked from a lobby right after entering it, random disconnections from the hub world and being sent back to the title screen. The only thing I can say I'm kinda disappointed in is the hair not changing when the Saiyans go Super Saiyan. I mean DBO and Ultimate Tenkaichi were able to do it...
By XV3 I guess, still super hype for the release!

I had these issues with players that have slow or bad internet connections. Not only in XV but in Saint Seiya also.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:I encountered problems such as constantly getting kicked from a lobby right after entering it, random disconnections from the hub world and being sent back to the title screen. My speed is 160 Mbps constant so my indication in online is full and when the other players are in low red indication and it is jumping in between speeds, then sometimes it kicks me out or the play is awfully glitchy (can't hit the opponent or like being in different dimension from the players).

I have slow internet so that probably explains why I had so many issues early on in XV1's release. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again in XV2 because the hub world and these new online modes look like a lot of fun.MCDaveG wrote:I had these issues with players that have slow or bad internet connections. Worst part of XV aside from the walking speed was that you were forced to attempt to connect to the server upon starting the game, and for some it took a whie before the game realised that you didn't wanna connect.Dbzfan94 wrote:You still had to connect and in the beginning the servers were really shittyAnime Kitten wrote:Sorry to hear that you guys were getting issues, but I'm just gonna mention that I play offline, so...
