What's the deal with Kid Trunks' Super Saiyan Hair?
What's the deal with Kid Trunks' Super Saiyan Hair?
I've actually never noticed all the differences until I had seen this image floating around on the internet and I thought it was was worth talking about. What do you guys think? I've honestly never noticed all the changes.

Yeah, I noticed that they gave him yet another look for SSJ, which out of all of them I think it looks the worst. They should really just pick one and stick with it. I'd go with the one in the last panel.

For a second this episode it looked like they gave him Cell Games Gohan's SSJ hair.
Yeah, this one and the ones with excessive spikes look the worst imo.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:Yeah, I noticed that they gave him yet another look for SSJ, which out of all of them I think it looks the worst. They should really just pick one and stick with it. I'd go with the one in the last panel.

Every artist draw things differently with their own style, that's all, no deal breaker.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

I don't know to be honest. Seems like they couldn't settle on one particular way to draw his hair. Though, they all really do look fine, except for the iffy Ebisawa one and the godawful Super one.

Doesn't mean they can't be consistent. I dont think anyone is making a big deal, more of an observation.Neo-Makaiōshin wrote:Every artist draw things differently with their own style, that's all, no deal breaker.

I just figured since he was Bulma's son his hair changed frequently as well.

Well, Bulma changes her hair herself, and clearly his regular state's hair is always the same.Gligarman wrote:I just figured since he was Bulma's son his hair changed frequently as well.

Well, kid Trunks doesn't get as many opportunities to turn Super Saiyan compared to Goku or Vegeta, thanks to Gotenks being a thing. Maybe that played a part in a standard shape for his hair not developing?
