I'm under the distinct impression that you, too, are using BabelFish. Be that as it may, you were the one who chose to make the article in Portuguese in the first place, daring us to find out for ourselves what it said (though I scarcely can imagine it'd make much more sense than the Babelfish translation if you'd written it in English).

I suppose I was a bit brusque with the "Spanish dialect" comment (although it's true that 600 or 700 years ago, they were about as similar as medieval regional dialects got)... but at any rate, you need to step back in line. The only thing preventing me from banning you right now are Administrator privileges. You had best remember that you are in our forum, and those who don't play by our rules quickly find themselves the object of our displeasure.

Well, my Portugese fellow, it seems like what is at issue here is a matter of courtesy. Daizex credited the source from which they received/obtained the scans, and you should do the same. You did not attain them from the original source, so, to refrain from plagarizing, you should not credit some one else's work as your own.

All you need to do is apologize.

And not all of us are American hypocrites. We have some European ones too. Why does it always have to be a national thing? <-------This is a sarcastic statement, which I suppose will be hard to translate throught the language barrier...

But unless the ways of the Brazilians involving 'stealing' or 'plagarizing' or 'being jerks', all this issue needs to be resolved is a mea culpa from their end. Why do they try to justify it? If I were to start my own site, and pull information and media off a whole bunch of other sites and call it my own, someone would probably launch a DoS attack against me. Because I would be a jackass.

Does not the same principle apply here? Maybe because we're speaking through a crappy translator we are all coming off as antagonistic, or something. *shrug*

We're fully aware that scanslations and mp3 downloads constitute a legal "gray area," but we also say what books/CDs they were originally from, and scan/rip the material ourselves (or, when we didn't get it on our own, we acknowledge the source of the file). We're also willing to take down the scans and music files, should any company with legitimate legal claim to them complain.

At the same time, you take our content, don't mention the source, and then say it's a "matter of etiquette"? Either you're retarded, or you've just acknowledged you're only doing this to be an asshole. I'm actually inclined to think both. There's a difference between two sites having images of the same thing, and two sites having the exact same image of the same thing. Please learn it and respect it.

Counting down the hours until EX wakes up and takes this guy to task...

No, you're not seeing what this is about. EX and Saiya went through the trouble and the work to get the stuff on this site up. They are not claiming to own the original images created by Toriyama-sama since they do not. What they are saying is that that image exists on the internet because they put it there, and that deserves to be noted.

Again, they aren't saying they own the rights to the ORIGINAL material. What they own are the .jpg image files that THEY CREATED as well as most of what's on this site.

As for NMZ3 which you mentioned earlier, that's only up until it's licensed in English. Once that happens it wont be up anymore.

As for the music. Um... hello... they gave credit where it's due.
