The fact that we use OUR OWN SCANS already puts us at a far higher level than you. And besides, we credit our sources, unlike somebody here.Kami Sama wrote:Portuguese if far different form espanish, if the EUA' s geography books did not say it, if one know a little of geography, what say about copyrigths? I'm under the distinct impression that you, too, are using BabelFish. this is be a lammer... and i am doing a favor to written in english. I'm not forced to give back such bullshits non-sense from someone how doesn't understand what i have said, from the same way you are doing!
I suppose I was a bit brusque with the "Spanish dialect" comment (although it's true that 600 or 700 years ago, they were about as similar as medieval regional dialects got)... but at any rate, you need to step back in line. Well, my Portugese fellow, it seems like what is at issue here is a matter of courtesy. Daizex credited the source from which they received/obtained the scans, and you should do the same. You did not attain them from the original source, so, to refrain from plagarizing, you should not credit some one else's work as your own.
All you need to do is apologize.
And not all of us are American hypocrites. We have some European ones too. Why does it always have to be a national thing? <-------This is a sarcastic statement, which I suppose will be hard to translate throught the language barrier...

Ah, yes, how could I forget our chilly, mysterious, and cryptic neighbors to the north? Your ways are strange to us, Canadian.
But unless the ways of the Brazilians involving 'stealing' or 'plagarizing' or 'being jerks', all this issue needs to be resolved is a mea culpa from their end. Why do they try to justify it? If I were to start my own site, and pull information and media off a whole bunch of other sites and call it my own, someone would probably launch a DoS attack against me. Because I would be a jackass.
Does not the same principle apply here? Maybe because we're speaking through a crappy translator we are all coming off as antagonistic, or something. *shrug*

"I didn't realize that simple honesty, curtisy, and respect was false ideology now. You don't simply trick your visitors, your also reaping the benefits of someone elses work."
What benefits? So a Dragon Ball fan-site is now a business? Marketing? Not for me. The entrance to the site is absolutely free and nothing that is showned there is quoted as MINE or EXCLUSIVE. I don't use images to call more visitors. I'm pretty apart from the kind of people who shouts to the world it was him who did the piracy and that nobody can use it as long as it doesn't shouts his name: VEGETTO EX!!! GOD EX!!! Cortesy is pretty apart from publishing a GIGANTIC SITE URL BANNER! A real fan does'nt need this kind of stuff. We don't need to self-promote and laugh about it online like the site did. A joke as unhappy as all the hipocrate attitudes.
"You can hide in certain technicalities all you like. When EX shows an image on his site, he either scanned/ captured it himself, OR he CREDITS where it came from."
It's a matter of etiquette, not of obligation. If it used other people's dialogues, or non-authorized images, then it would be a matter of obligation. As far as I'm concearned, only Akira Toriyama, SHUEISHA and CLOVERWAY and it's "negociators" have got those reproduction rights. if you want to criticize illegal stuff, like black marketing or stealing, you could start looking at your own mistakes.
As things are going, in a few time we will be seing things in the site like: "Hey! people are using our images in EMULE without crediting us!"
Pathetic.
"Um...I barely understood any of that, you can feed that ego with cake, with a side dish of bull shit."
"Great argument..." Tsc, tsc... a

"I really hope you were being sarcastic, calling EX a hypocrit because he's american and your "stoic" because you're brazilian? Hypocritical prick."
you're not THAT stupid not to get this line's conotation, even in the "most worst" traduction). And i'm not hipocritical prick. I'm not the one who ilegally scans material and still thinks is the owner of it. Much less do I make available pirated mp3's from original CDs and and think I own it more than the artist.

Okay, well, I'm glad that you've decided to put on your jackass hat and dance around. So, basically, you're going to take stuff that other people received/obtained/created, and use it for your own ends, with no regards to the source, because it doesn't matter? And it matters not because...you say so? I'm glad your word is absolute.
So, if I happen to one day make my own webpage, and use all the info and media from your site, because I'm only using it to 'spread the love', then it's all cool, right? Copy and paste rulez.
So, Kami, it seems you're only the god of petty theft. You can dance around your semantics in any languague you choose, but, in essence, that is what you are. And what's worse is that you try to turn it around and call the proprietor of a well-established and popular site the real thief.
I hold you in the highest contempt. I shall now continue my haughtiness elsewhere.

We're fully aware that scanslations and mp3 downloads constitute a legal "gray area," but we also say what books/CDs they were originally from, and scan/rip the material ourselves (or, when we didn't get it on our own, we acknowledge the source of the file). We're also willing to take down the scans and music files, should any company with legitimate legal claim to them complain.
At the same time, you take our content, don't mention the source, and then say it's a "matter of etiquette"? Either you're retarded, or you've just acknowledged you're only doing this to be an asshole. I'm actually inclined to think both. There's a difference between two sites having images of the same thing, and two sites having the exact same image of the same thing. Please learn it and respect it.

No, you're not seeing what this is about. EX and Saiya went through the trouble and the work to get the stuff on this site up. They are not claiming to own the original images created by Toriyama-sama since they do not. As for NMZ3 which you mentioned earlier, that's only up until it's licensed in English. Once that happens it wont be up anymore.
As for the music. Um... hello... they gave credit where it's due.

What I said that daqui little the DAIZEX ones goes to want rights of who to share the images of the site of it, all fruit of scans that it does not possess a type of authorization.

Created illegally. This dumb some thing? Not that I am against the piracy. I am against giving credits who pirates. Why this type of work was not to self the fan. If it was, this discussion wouldn't exist.
"As for NMZ3 which you mentioned earlier, that's only up until it's licensed in English. Once that happens it wont be up anymore."
Again, nothing against the piracy. But yes the hypocrisy in demanding rights that do not exist in top of it. I don't know if in U.S.A. the things only function thus. Or in the Fantastic World of EX and Jedi.
"As for the music. Um... hello... they gave credit where it's due."
To house MP3 is illegal? therefore then. My site is not portraied as "ilegal"? How somebody can demand right to criticize without before looking at pra itself exactly? In such a way strange one...
