PS4 Xenoverse 2 co-op community

Post by Raijin1999 » Sun Oct 02, 2016 5:47 pm

Not sure if this warrants being moved into the general xv2 discussion thread. The format of the following might make that cluttered and off-point.

Hello peoples! First post here, though lurk often as i'm checking up on Super every Sunday morning to see what's going on with the show and how peeps are reacting to it.

Just wanted to let XV2 PS4 players know that I set up a community for XV2's PVE aspect (co-op, sans PVP). Trying to bring people in, especially those that plan on participating in the closed and/or open betas so we can test out the network stability, especially with six possible players on those expert mode missions, but then continue on into the live game and use the community for LFG grouping, tip sharing, build spec sharing, and for your character screenshots in game. It'll be moderated daily, often hourly, and isn't going to permit abusive folk to run rampant and rag on other members without being hurled switfly into a katchin crash test wall of doom.

For folks interested in getting together and getting that jolly cooperation on, you can find the community by the name, "Dragonball Xenoverse 2 PVE Co-Op Players", by checking through my PSN: xxSHEPERDxx, or by dropping your PSN here and i'll add you in manually. Hope to see you there! Depending on what this game decides to block, video wise, i'll also be recording our missions together and tossing them up to youtube, and think it'd be cool if others shared the same videos. Would be cool to see multiple angles of the same battlesfrom the different perspectives. I'm adding folks to the community from several sources, but plan to do the majority of adding by inviting people from within the game, and I expect it to become fairly robust, very quickly once the first beta is up and running.

Since there is a GD for XV2, let's keep this thread's replies strictly for adding your requests for an invite. Any discussion about the game itself should otherwise go into the XV2 GD. If you have any questions about the community, send me a PM as not to clutter up the thread. Thanks! :D

Would love to, had met like 50 new PS4 friends to play with just by playing the XV alone.
What sucks tough are the different time zones, so unless, we agree on some date and time for us to play, it's virtually impossible to get in touch with people.
Like it happened to me with one guy here.

Got a PSN? Can add you as i'm posting from the PS4's browser. (PC died a while back ;_; )

With the sheer amount of players that can be in a PS4 community (over 10,000), if this thing keeps growing, the time zone thing eventually won't be an issue. I myself don't follow any strict schedules when playing games, and I know several others that are online at equally random hours, so chances are that you'll be adding friends individually to your PSN lists from within the community and will be able to see their online statuses to game up more easily. The community then serves as a hub for an almost gamer clan oriented setup. For example, I set up a community for The Division specifically for hunting HVTs, since the game itself has no built in function to matchmake for HVT bounty bosses. We'd use the community as an LFG hub, then add responding players as friends so we could group up in game. Because Xenoverse has all built in mechanics for grouping already solved, the xv2 community doesn't need to be stricly for LFG purposes and can be much more social, too.
