I don't think just wishing for all mortals to die would bring him satisfaction, nor wishing to have everyone agree with him. He wants to punish the filthy mortals, and make the other gods see that his version of justice is correct. So I don't know if there's a more practical wish he could've that he'd actually be willing to do (though maybe wishing to see-all or know-all might help)
