I second this. I can't help it but I love his music so frickin' much! It gets me hyped up every time I hear it and I always know what I'm about to watch whenever it catches my ear.

Edit: I just caught a look of those figures. I'm not even a collector and they still look atrocious to me.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion and I respect it. I honestly could care less where Kikuchi is put in Super. For the love of God, I'd probably take the Kai Kikuchi score . Any video meshes with Kikuchi's magnificent music in my eyes.

Not bad, but even here, the classical feel of Kikuchi doesn't blend for me. A classical style of music belongs with a classical picture. It's sort of the opposite of some of the problems I have with Faulconer's tracks being used in DBZ.

Which one? Naruto or Naruto Shippuden's? I love them both. Masuda Toshio's score for Naruto gives me the feels every time. While Takanashi Yasuharu's score in Shippuden has some amazing battle themes. Pein's theme is the best thing ever.

really didn't like GT back then but compared to Super, it still had a somewhat solid idea of progression.
Character development in Super is horrible.. if there is any oO

Goku:
Brain dead child who doesn't take anything seriously. Where the hell is the Goku that respected his enemies' power? Yea, Goku was always dumb and funny, but just as Luffy is. When it gets serious, they get/got serious as well

Vegeta:
He WAS badass, he was the incarnation of bad assness.. in super he bows bis head before anyone -> not consistent at all taking into account how proud his original personality was
Only positive aspect is, he cares more about his family, which makes sense

Piccolo:
Just where is he in Super? One fight, one horrible defeat. That's it?

Gohan:
Gosh, remember how he was fighting to survive before the sayans' arrival? What the hell happened to that Gohan?! He doesn't wanna fight but study. This is just killing every Gohan fan

Trunks & Gohan:
They simply don't matter in Super, not even Trunks who got more screen time, plus no development , where is Goten??
Same goes for Krilin.
Beerus and Whis:
Are made into a joke, them reacting to the earth foods is cringy AF and sometimes makes me question if they're gag characters or not. Almost every single episode has about 5-10 min of them overreacting and throwing a tantrum over shitty foods. They're "Gods" it seems.......damn this is insulting.

The story:
Good basic idea of expanding the battlefield to other universes, but what a garbage realization
the plot is horrible, it's got no turns, no tension, no drama, no intensity.. just nothing of that!!!

The WORST part:
The events in super are not well interwoven
->> there is the main plot and nothing else around it
Have they ever heard of secondary plots and characters?!

Suspense:
The creator's should look up this term. They may be surprised if they thought they put it in DBS...

Last point:
It is too childish, we all like comic relief, but it's just too much for my taste.

Conclusion:
DBS is a heartless, empty shell with polished animation which is not worth watching if you wanna relive that epic DBZ feeling.

As much as I want to say you are completely wrong about everything because of the 1st paragraph which says GT is better than super..

Wow...so a line of toys coming out that looks to be aimed directly at kids (because they sure as hell don't look like adult collector quality ) seems like a preeetty strong indication of Super being planned to air on a child-friendly network, doesn't it? I assume they'd only put money into marketing these toys in the US if it's going to be airing here...guess it's only a matter of time before an announcement is made!

The question is, which network will get it? Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney...? None of them air a lot of anime anymore, but Dragon Ball is still well-known enough that any of them might be willing to give it a shot.

If Super airs on a kids network, will the Japanese music be used or not? If they do a replacement source, I hope we can watch the dub with the Japanese music as a option on the home video release.

I feel like this has been covered already, so I'll just ask where this is coming from? Why would the idea of a replacement score for Super even occur to anyone?

I said that i prefer GT than the 3first DBS sagas. Goku black saga is interesting but still have those mistakes.

Interesting that we are getting toys for Super coming out in 2017. It looks like they are from Bandai America.

These are from jakks pacific and clearly aimed at children. The press release says they are aiming to release lots if figures of different sizes (3.5 inch, 6.5 inch and 7 inch) and want to appeal to a wide variety of audiences. I imagine the 7 inch figures will be more detailed and aimed at ages 10+. They also have other things coming like a scouter and a "kamehameha shooter". Seems like a pretty big push to make Super big in the US and it's likely starting in Summer alongside the release of the merch. Hopefully they got a good network and time slot. Airing it on Nick next to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles would probably be the best place, but I'd also like it on Cartoon Network followed by an uncensored airing on Toonami, but the uncensored version will probably be DVD/Bluray only like with Kai.
With it starting two whole years after the Japanese version I gotta wonder if they'll air more than one episode a week for a bit.

I wonder when they'll announce, it's crazy that they're announcing the merchandising push first.

Maybe by the time we get to the tournament arc in the dub there will finally be Japanese figures of the Universe 6 team x_X

Super's Goku is a disgrace and by far my biggest issue with this series, on the other hand that's probably the only thing that GT did better (along with being post-EoZ).

Ha! No kidding. Seriously wonder what the hold up actually is, maybe they think they won't be popular? Then again Black's being released in March so can't be that but why are these taking so long?

Gotta settle for them UDM keychains (even then I think that's only Hit who has one).
