Unpopular DB opinions

This one's probably real unpopular, I don't necessarily mind the 16:9 crop. When they take advantage of panning and reframing, as was done in Both Kai and Funimation's Blu-Ray Sets, most of the awkward cut-offs are resolved. While it's true that the Orange Bricks cropped incorrectly, the main reason I dislike both Season Sets of DBZ is the heavy DNR.

I love Super's characterisation of Goku. It makes him a very interesting protagonist. He's been serious when he needs to be I think it's perfect.

I don't really like either Zamasu or Goku Black as villains.
They're both honestly okay or decent but I'm not a big fan of either of em.

People make a much bigger deal of the rasp than I think is warranted. In Vegeta's case, it works.

To me, the rasp didn't work because it made Sabat's acting come off as forced and unnatural. When Sabat got rid of the rasp in Kai, his acting got much better.

I didn't hear that much rasp in Kai, only a little of it.

For other unpopular opinions:
- I liked movie 11.
- Although Blue Water's GT dub was terrible (with the exception of a few voices), I thought that their DB dub was decent.
- I like Yamcha and Chiaotzu.
- While Faulconer's score doesn't fit DBZ, I liked the SSJ3 theme.
- I don't think Sumitomo's Kai score was that bad.
- I prefer Ted Cole's Yamcha to Sabat's.

I get what you're saying, but please don't equate such a horrific thing as cancer to something as harmless as a subject in a kid's comic series.

Cancer's a serious thing. I'll always take it seriously because it's a very sore subject for me in particular. If you laughed at it, I ain't gon shame ya for a second. But I prefer not to use it in jokes or compare it to something silly. Especially Dragon Ball.

I think Dragonball Super should take a 1 month break to get some better preproduction. I know they'd need a little more but because the schedule isn't limping anymore I think it would be good enough to get a head start and not stop too much momentum.

I'm not really sure. I know a lot of people think Z looked it's best in the Boo arc and lots of people also like GT's designs.

I agree with all of these. Can't say for sure on Kai because I haven't watched it for a long time.

Nozawa was a little disappointing in Kai. I'm not a fan of Schemmel, but he wasn't bad.

In the dub, puns are lost in translation and don't exist.

In Japan, Toriyama outright names characters Rice Cracker and Crabmeat Omelette.

There's no balance, our only options are zero subtlety or losing the pun.
