Okay, I'm right there with you on the stance of microtransactions, but I don't see how this can be applied to Xenoverse 2 when they've already stated what their DLC plan consists of: Characters, stages, CaC items, and... that's it. Alongside free content updates as well. I assure you mate, it's not what you're assuming it will become.

And that's what I'm hoping. Pray I'm wrong and they don't fall to the dark side like every other major developer. Because if they do, it's not just the community that suffers.

No, because that would make Masked Saiyan and Black Masked Saiyan less unique. The new Villainous Mode form is just an enhanced version of the one in XV.

Oh, I should clarified myself better next time, I didn't mean that the designs should match them, just something that looked different. I just never liked the color of the Villainous mode. It was just too unappealing to me.

But on a side note, closed beta is so close..I'm going to pull an all nighter when it does

Just slots on the roster, I believe. So no and yes respectively.

I think we will probably see Garlic Jr (They will likely skip Dead Zone), #13, Super #13, Bojack, Zangya and Bebi Vegeta (Non Oozaru) on the main roster. #19 and Dr. Gero also seem possible seeing that we also #16 on the main roster. I would like to see Bebi (Non Vegeta), Rildo and Ledgic seeing that we never had them in a major fighting game.

Apparently, there's possibly a total of 102.

There's not going to be 102. That person was counting all the slots without a character in them, without paying attention to where the "pages" ended and what characters were unlocked on one image but not another that covered part of the same area.

Also need to add Goku Black (and maybe even Future Trunks from Super) to the list, but I'm not sure if the slots account for him/them or if they'll be slipped in once obtained.

Also, the website was only listing characters with different slots. So I wonder if we have to separate Videl's long hair and short hair versions now too...? That would take another blank space off the list...

Man this game seems underwhelming. It turns me off even more seeing how much damage control this game is getting lol. I'll just wait and see when the game comes out, but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe X3 will be worth waiting for .

Really, if you want sequel, you have to support XV2. Yeah, it's kinda of a scam, tu support product, that is not to par with expectations and frankly, it's like what Infinite World was to Budokai 3 (And I enjoyed it a lot).
But people will be pissed by XV2 and will end like Force Unleashed 2.

and on top of all of this the game was made in about a year and a half, which by modern standards is pretty damn impressive, especially considering that it didn't have a AAA budget. If you look at the whole package instead of just one part it is clear that this is absolutely a full sequel.

I'm happy about that, though I bet that as a cncequence it's gonna launch buggy as fuck.

this is just not true.
XV2 is a decent sequel content wise.
and there are things we still dont know about.
