Of course. Super is not better or no worse than what came before it in the Dragon Ball franchise. It's a simple, action/comedy/adventure animated show. Nothing more, nothing less. That's what appealed to kids with DBZ many years ago and it will have the same attraction with kids now.

I greatly disagree with that. There have been several sequels to all kind of media, TV show, movies, books etc, that can be enjoyed on their without having all the knowledge of what came before it.
