yea i dont think it was in the script either, it was something probably added by otsuka.kinisking wrote:I was genuinely surprised how much effort they put into that hug. The moment seemed a little forced though.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 61
Once again, I'm fashionably late to the discussion here. Mostly, I liked the episode a lot, even if Zamas blabbering his "mortals are evil" line over and over got a bit tiring. We get it dude. Humans are bad. You're getting to be worse than Klaatu from "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
I sort of understand how JulieYBM feels about the episode. I didn't think the animation was quite as spectacular as many have voiced it to be. Much of the action felt like it was far more ambitious than the staff could reasonably deliver, which resulted in some noticeable corner-cutting techniques, such as sliding static character art to create motion, and cutting away from attacks without showing actual impacts.
Thankfully, these were not overused enough to distract from the legitimately impressive work. Particularity, the explosions were glorious, erupting with energy and smearing buildings into oblivion. Add the greater brutality on display, and it truly captured the grandness and scale of traditional Dragon Ball Z battles.

Sorry this is kind of off-topic, but does anybody know which part of the Son Gokuu v Cell fight in Dragon Ball Z #179 was animated by Iwane Masa'aki ?

Really? SSG Goku vs Beerus in the previous arc was leagues ahead of that fight.Hit!! wrote:The first time i saw the SSJB Vegeta vs Golden Freeza fight in the ROF arc, i thought that was the best animation Super would ever have, like ever.

I'm the only who thought Goku's Anger scene was similar to that RoF teaser?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Could be a mistake, he has them in one shot of the NEP for 62 and then they are gone, wouldn't be surprised if they are completely gone in the full episode.kinisking wrote:His pupils are back too.thegamer23 wrote:Hum...they are not fighting in the ruined city anymore by the looks of it
I really like Manabe's pointy style.
As for the location, my mind immediately went to this being in the present, I wonder if I'm right, probably not, they probably just move over the Forrest where Black and Zamasu's cabin is.

We (almost) always get an image of the next week's episode the day before a new episode.buutenks wrote: SHouldnt that be ep 62??

Wait so that is a screenshot from ep 62 in the episode 63 leak? I am a bit confused.ArchedThunder wrote:We (almost) always get an image of the next week's episode the day before a new episode.buutenks wrote: SHouldnt that be ep 62??

It's a shot from next week's episode 63, not tomorrow's 62. Usually the shot we get is in the NEP at the end of the following day's episode, but some times it isn't.buutenks wrote:

Aha, so Trunks may still be fighting Black and Zamasu in ep 63?ArchedThunder wrote:It's a shot from next week's episode 63, not tomorrow's 62. Usually the shot we get is in the NEP at the end of the following day's episode, but some times it isn't.buutenks wrote:

This new form or whatever it is might not be that bad after all. His hair looks so much better than how it's usually drawn in SSJ these days.

It's great to see night time in the future. I wonder if trunks asked them to fight in wasteland. I dont know how they would agree though, very out of character of both zamasus assuming if that is what actually happened.

The blasts in dbs look like trash. I miss when they were more beam like.

Just noticed that when the battle begins between Goku and Goku Black from EP61, Goku is briefly seen with the hole in his chest despite not having received that wound yet in the battle. Then, in the next shot, it goes back to normal.
