Seriously, RocketMan, a good number of your posts seem to be less than a full line of nothing that really contributes to the conversation.
Anyways, this is some pretty interesting news. I've never seen anyone who's worked on the series in "moving speaking" form before, aside from the dub cast and that handful of Toriyama interviews on YouTube.

Agreed. And I'm guessing that PekinDuck is merely lurking through the forums nowadays, if even that.Mr. Piccolo wrote:But seriously, it'll probably end up in YouTube soon enough. Speaking of cool things on YouTube, what does anyone happened to PekinDuck?

PekinDuck will reveal himself when the time is right. Anyways, Ms. Nozawa looks younger than I imagined. It'll be fun to see her teaching J-Pop artists how to dub, she's been in the business for a very long time.

his YouTube account got suspended a while back =PBut seriously, it'll probably end up in YouTube soon enough. Speaking of cool things on YouTube, what does anyone happened to PekinDuck?
This video should be pretty cool. It's pretty amazing how someone like Ms.Nozawa can create such a great voice befitting of a Son Goku. Looking forward to it.
Damn, she's good at pleasing a crowd.Alucard wrote:I found this video on YouTube:

Turn to about 55 secs on the timer, it's the only video found searching her name in Japanese.
The Hello! Morning episode was yesterday, so I made some screenshots. The game was pretty fun! So as Nozawa was introduced, Niigaki asked the inevitable question: (I wanna hear Kamehameha!)

And as Nozawa is just awesome, she of course complies. Including pose!

The game they play is dubbing. The girls are split into three teams, and each team has to dub a clip (anime and live-action). Nozawa gives advice and comments about their dubbing.
The first clip is of Raccoon Rascal, where Nozawa played Raccoon. Yoshizawa dubs Starling, the friend of Raccoon and gets praise from the master-seiyuu and shows the expected reaction on such praise:

The other two teams dub the movies Dragon Tiger Gate and Se7en. The last team actually gets a brilliant response of Nozawa, when they make Morgan Freeman the father of Brad Pitt and Tsuji uses a awesome manly voice for Freeman (Hohohohoho!):

Nozawa decides the last team is the winner for their dubbing of Se7en and they get to eat things. A Dragon Ball themed sushi!

For people who wanna see it with sound, someone uploaded the episode at Veoh. The Nozawa part begins at around 19 minutes (after the commercials).

That was awesome. I watched the whole episode. I didn't understand a word of it but I loved it. Though I don't know why Tsuji was on there since she's not in Morning Musume anymore. Still it was all cool. Also Hitomi Yoshizawa was definitely the best at the segment where they were dubbing over scenes of certain shows and movies. She would make an excellent Seiyuu.

Althought there wasn't as much of Masako Nazawa doing Goku's voice, I did enjoy it when she actually did do the voice for the kamehameha. It was pretty crazy to hear Goku's voice coming from her... especially since she can still make her voice sound like Goku's. It's kinda like the time I saw Elizabeth Daily voice for Tommy from the Rugrats in that one behind the scenes featurette way back when...

Even thought I can't understand a word that was being spoken, I enjoyed watching it very much. It seems that Miss Nozawa still recieves a lot of respect over there. Good stuff.Ash wrote:For people who wanna see it with sound, someone uploaded the episode at Veoh. The Nozawa part begins at around 19 minutes (after the commercials).
Guess I missed the thread on this news.
I put up a link to a good quality version of her appearance.
