Will Goten and Trunks get stronger?

Will Goten and Trunks get stronger?

Do you think Goten and Trunks will get stronger, and if so how? I personally think I would be cool for them to go into The Room of Spirit and Time with Vegeta, but the SSGod ritual seems like a more likely option considering the NEP.

What do you guys think?

No if you have SSGod Goten, Trunks and gohan then Vegeta and Goku will be useless probably and that is why these 3 characters will not get this power boost.

No. His role ended after BoG.
He's only there for gags and conversation. He'll only be used to pass the episodes time. :D

I don't think they'll get stronger, but they might receive some character development (well Trunks cause Goten is barely a character).

I can see Future Trunks' strength inspiring the other Trunks to train, for the reason that he wants to become as strong as his future counterpart. I don't like the idea of Trunks and Goten achieving Super Saiyan God though, It will just be the whole ''Super Saiyan Bargain Sale'' all over again.

How about they age a bit before we talk about them getting stronger? I mean they look exactly the same as they did in the Buu Arc, and that was a while ago now.

Well, they're still kids, give them some time and they might become stronger, who knows?

Idk why some people think trunks will develop and goten won't. They are a pair. As long as trunks gets stronger, do you really think goten will let himself fall behind? Same reason why vegeta will never stay much weaker than goku for long.

Goten looks even younger now (lel)

But seriously: I don't think so, cause there isn't really a reason why they should even get stronger. If Gohan and Piccolo get shoved aside that easily by Toriyama it won't be different with Goten/Trunks. Right now Goku, Vegeta (and Trunks) seem to be powerful enough to cope with all the opponents themselves.
