Could Piccolo expel Nail and Kami-sama?

I recall the Nameless Namekian was able to split into King Piccolo and Kami. Could Piccolo split into two as well and have a new being created that would be Nail or Kami?

Nope, the situations are pretty different. What the Son of Katatz did was basically expel the evil half of his own soul, and that took physical form as King Piccolo. They were two halves, good and evil, of the same person. Whereas what happened when Piccolo Jr assimilated Nail and Kami is that, essentially, their souls were absorbed into his.

"Piccolo" now has the combined memories, knowledge, and skills of all three of them, but is still a single person all to himself. If Piccolo were to do the same thing the Son of Katatz did back then, it would simply expel the evil half of his own soul and potentially create an evil doppelganger of himself in the same way.

Even then, something tells me that the whole "expel your evil to create a doppelganger" is something only a Dragon-Clansman could do. I don't think a Warrior-Type Namekian could do it. But hey, I could be wrong there.

Kami and Piccolo were one before and split... So I think that could happen again, even though Piccolo is no longer evil, I would guess they could work out a way to do that... Nail, probably not.

At this point I don't see why he would want to, since he'd lose a significant amount of power.

I suppose this means Kami and Nail will never be found in the afterlife when Piccolo dies

I think Piccolo pretty bluntly told Goku he can't split again when the question came up in the wait for the Cell Games, hence why Goku goes to New Namek to find a replacement for Kami.

I get the feeling that Nail was just humoring Piccolo. Something like "Yeah sure tough guy, whatever you say."
