Demigra's name.

Since Dōmigura comes from Dōmigurasuso, wich means “Demi Glace”, shouldn't Dōmigura be “Demi Gla”?
If so; why did FUNimation choose to go with “Demigra”?

If "Demigla" is the final romanization, than it looks like a Japanese interchangeable r's and l's thing. So is he named after ice cream? I hear "glace" and I think the french word.
