Starting on October 30, the platforms will offer 10 of the earlier episodes per week.
They will have everything by the end of the year.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

It's free on Daisuki! I just checked it out. Installed the app, made myself a member, and as a result i've already got to test it out by watching 2 episodes of One Punch Man! Totally LEGAL! Woow! It works perfectly. They have subs (many different languages that you can choose) AND you can choose all kinds of Video Qualities. Including 1080p!

Isn't this just the best service ever?

I'm surprised Toei would send it to a streaming site that streams for free.

Also, wonder if this means the older series; DB, DBZ, and DBGT could be up on streaming sites?

This is very cool. Now a friend of mine can watch it without having to hunt down a good sub online. Or just about anybody really. I often see people asking where they can watch it. Now they got it! Just got to wait a bit for the whole thing.

Also I should have known better than to check out the comments of the facebook article that posted this news. I really should have.

Considering the free versions of said streams will probably have to deal with ads, I'd imagine they'll still be making their money back that way. Not to mention the not-announced-but-totally-clearly-on-the-horizon full English release coming soon enough, they'll be making money hand-over-foot soon enough as it is.

Funny how we have this, but still no word on Kai 2.0. I don't really care anymore, just think it's worth noting.

Does Daisuki work in Europe? Because it doesn't say they're going to simulcast it here.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

At this point, I'm convinced that a lot of people's theory is going to be proven right, and the last half of Kai is just going to start airing on Toonami with no mention (outside of maybe getting an announcement/trailer like a week before or something - how far are they on Toonami right now anyway?), and will be dumped almost unceremoniously on DVD/Bluray sets as the airing progresses. Kai 2.0 pretty much missed the boat entirely in regards to being treated as a major deal.

Last I checked, all Dragon Ball, Z, and GT are all up on funimations streaming platform.

My bad! Damn it! You're right. This is not fair to us! Discrimination against europe! Well i was able to watch One Punch Man.. And i live in the Netherlands.. So daisuki itself does work for me.. But why the hell would they skip europe!? Don't they realise that a simultaneous worldwide release is much better in any way possible..? That way they don't get angry dissapointed me's and you's. AND they make a lot more money! Simultaneously! But hey, this is Toei we're talking about.. They're ignorant and stupid.

Damn it. Now i'm severely dissapointed! Because it seems i got all hyped up for no reason! They don't include Europe! What's up with that!? What's fucking up bro? That's discrimination.

Both subs and dubs? And in what regions are they available?

Man, this was a surprise. Although I will miss the livestream hype, only waiting one hour to watch it legally WITH SUBS is a blessing. And it's all free, too. Good job on Funimation for making this happen.

I would also like to thank Herms and that one certain fansub group for their hard work every week. They translated the series for us accurately.

Actually it's not fumination, it's all Toei. Even the subs would be from Toei themselves.

Are you sure? And hopefully their subs are good.

Yep 100% sure. Toei will provide their own subs. No Steve Simmons. I hope they are good too.

Kind of what they did with the Jump Super Anime Tour special. If I recall correctly, those subs did have a few small problems but weren't just plain awful like some of the speed-subs can be.

IIRC Toei provided the subs for Saint Seiya Soul of Gold and Sailor Moon Crystal, and they were just fine. Simulcast is much more of a thing these days, compared to the time of the JSAT special.

Also reaching a deal at this point, is probably a sign they want Super to air for a long time.

Exactly. This is how I felt when I was looking up the Hebrew-language clips of DB Super on Nick and seeing it on a TV screen being recorded made me somehow focus more on the story itself and less on the animation. I guess because it's not unofficial fansubs I was seeing.
