Saiyan Island says the game will have 28 stages. They've listed 17 that they know of. I think only 4 of them are new.

Which one is "Beach"?

How many stages did Xenoverse have? Both with and without DLC?

Xenoverse had 22 total and this one is adding 6 more, with four or five(if you think the U6 tournament will make it in) of them being revealed so far.

I went through this the other day but I'll just list every stage we know of. This is assuming that every stage from Xenoverse 1 comes back which I very much assume it would based on that stage select screen and the new one depicted on Saiyan Island. This is from left to right, top to bottom similar to there list but I will be filling in the blanks with the stages from past games which they omitted.

20. Archipelago (Night) - I assume this is one they are calling beach, unfortunately it's not a new stage.

24. Battle of Gods Cave where Beerus and Goku Fought
25. Sky Islands where Goku fought Android 17
26. Space (Planet Vegeta)

So yeah there is still one stage not revealed yet. Now you would think it is the Universe 6 vs 7 stage but Rhymestyle said that stage is not in the base game meaning it is most likely DLC for the first DLC pack. Let's just hope it isn't just some lame different time of day map. It could just be the time chasm area.

There is none. They just made the archipelago night to simulate it. I guess it looks sort of close

Oh so even though I already the amount of actual new stages added to this game was pathetically low it turns out there's even less than I thought .

yeah unfortunately with sequels this is a common trend in Dragon Ball games. Saying that Xenoverse was the best base game for stages we had in a long long time. Remember Raging Blast only had 10 stages and Raging Blast 2 did not add too much to that. (Ice stage, Hell and maybe the Lookout is all I remember).

That is what I think too but for one trophy only? I'm fine with that I just hope it is long because from how they described it to be. Otherwise the story is basically doing the same as XV1 just with a character change here and there.

Seems like, once again, the story will be rushed after Frieza Saga.

[spoiler]There's like... 3 parts of it dedicated to Namek Saga (Ruckus, Ginyu and Frieza), and only one part dedicated to every other saga, which is quite worrying, especially in regards to the Buu Saga, where a lot is supposed to happen. Anyway, I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like I am.[/spoiler]

I'm happy they added him in but they could have at least did SSJ for him. My guess is that him Tien, Piccolo and Krillin will be fighting with you against the Freeza soldiers and since there is no Tagoma or the red guy with the horns (don't remember his name) there is no need for them to put the SSJ form. Dimps just goes with what is necessary in their minds for the fights.

Because Future Gohan and Great Saiyaman are their own characters now. And TB Gohan got remplaced with FNF Gohan.

Yes, Tracksuit-Gohan is weak Dimps,..... but is this really a reason to remove his SSJ form ?
The worst part imo is, they added Attacks from other characteres (which he never even did in the movie) to his Moveset ..

I'm disappointed, because they could've done a so much better job. This is inaccurate bullshit...

(Btw, I don't even care if the lack of his SSJ form is story-related, Bardock could turn SSJ in the first game too)

You have a point, and I doubt they'd have the GT characters in the base game without using them in the story. THough that could be a possibility.
