Best way to end the series

The other gods becomes the villains and Omniking the end villain...I believe that's the plan from Akira and the only possibilty to see Beerus,Whis,Vados,Champa in action..

The Ominking becoming a villain would not make sense, as there would be no way to beat him. You can't surpass an omnipotent/omnipresent being who could wipe anything out of existence with a mere thought.

If they want it to make any sense with GT it seems like at this point there would have to be a major factor like different timeline, time reset, memory erase etc.

If they don't want it to make sense with GT they can really do whatever they want... hopefully keeping the end of Z with Uub in mind.

Minor change ups to the ending in Z, effectively being retconned in Super. That's the best way to end the series.

Nothing has suggested that Zeno is omnipotent or omnipresent.

He is omnipotent, he has the biggest power in the multiverses and can do whatever he wants. Idk if he is omnipresent, but he knew about the U7 and U6 tournament. I mean, he isn't everywhere but he sees everything.

That you're the best is not the same as being omnipotent.

Goku wins the multiverse tournament and becomes the strongest non god fighter in the universe.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

U6-U7 Tournament was not a secret. The tournament had spectators, including Kaioshins (and also mortal spectators from U6 in the manga), and has been published on GodTube (we don't know, maybe even in live streaming!)...

He may just have heard of that: just checking Episode 41, Omni King says "I came here because it was brought to my attention, that today you were doing something arbitrarily".

He doesn't seem to be omnipresent, or omniscent... he did not seem to know about which were the important things Goku had to finish before returning to play with him...

Actually I think it would be cool if they moved Super past the ending of Z. They can't do it without a direct contradiction anyway (Bulma saying she hasn't seen Goku for years etc)

I'd just like to see a fitting end for all the gods stuff, with some kind of 'soft reset' if possible: not a time rewrite, amnesia or anything like that, but rather a way to make the series 'skippable', while also keeping consistency.

For instance: the characters end up causing too much havoc in the god realms, and this leads to Zeno stripping them of their God forms and leaving them in Z levels. Cue some motivational words about how they can still become stronger even if they're not gods, and we're off. An ending I'd like is Goku and Vegeta meeting again like in the last chapters of the manga, then use a montage to go through the fight with Uub, and end the series like the manga (maybe using the Kanzenban ending).

I think this would, in the long run, satisfy more people than it seems.
*Want to consider Super canon, only to worry about the canonicity of the manga ending? Fine.
*Want to dismiss Super as canon and just consider it a side story to the main anime, with or without GT? Fine.
*Want to count both Super and GT? Fine.

Have the epic fight to end all epic fights that Goku and Vegeta had in Dragon Ball Online which created a supernova, then throw in the final five minutes of the last episode of GT, and that for me, would be the best way to end the series.

Dragon Ball Online is the best way to end this series. Hands down.

Just try to make it possible to reconcile Super and GT.

Have Kibito Kai refuse by accident, for instance.

I mean he'll be stronger than every non god of destruction and their Whis.

The series should end on a major cliffhanger. Dragon Ball has had two endings up until now, so let's do something different and tantalize the audience for years.

Dragon Ball Super must end with Goku and Vegeta last battle from Dragon Ball Online. We know it happens and we want to see it. And it makes so much sense to end the serie with the 3rd and final battle of Goku vs Vegeta. Not to mention nobody expects Goku and Vegeta to die of old age. Unless they become full fledged Gods and gain never ending youthness like Master Roshi

I was about to say that but you took it out of my mouth, it would truly be an epic way to end it.

I'd like the series to end before 28th Tournament, cause I really want Super being more or less compatible with GT.
I know that there's SSJ Blue now which wasn't showed in GT, and there's this Kaioshin/Kibito thing etc., but still, that still could somehow fit ; ) In "Dead Zone" also Kuririn met Gohan and didn't recognized him in ep. 1 of Z (i'm mentioning that cause later we had this Garlic Saga in the anime). DB has many pothololes, so this few more wouldn't be so bad ;)
