I wasn't expecting Sean to sound like... that. I mean, I just expected him to use Goku's voice but more, chill and relaxed in a way? Dunno. This sounds.. kinda odd.

Sean's version of Goku Black sounds way too pissed off. I was expecting something like his Super Saiyan 3 voice, but more evil and all high-and-mighty sounding. Hopefully it'll sound better in Super. I think this is just a case of him not knowing the character well enough yet to give an accurate performance.

Twenty one actual new characters isn't that bad imo. And they probably will include some extra characters in the free updates they promised, too.

The amount isn't bad and the overall roster is a good size. There just needed to be more variety with the new additions because 90% of these new characters have been in plenty of games already.

Why couldn't they have included the likes of Kami, Mr Popo, King Kai, Sorbet, Ledgic, Sigma Cannon, Olibu, Chilled, Dr Raichi, Paragus etc

It's been forever since they've had characters like Tapion, Uub, King Piccolo, King Cold or Pikkon too.

i want to know how many characters in BT3 were touched no more than 3 times.

I'm not too satisfied with the Sean's voice of Black either. It's even more gruff than his SSJ4 voice. I hope in Super he'll voice him with a bit higher tone.

You can totally tell that Sean Schemmel's performance is an act of trying to do something that he doesn't know yet. Maybe he never learned of a saga featuring Goku as evil and just discovered it when he was chose to play Goku Black, but yet, he didn't watch the episodes which the said character appears to make himself prepared. I'm pretty sure Schemmel will be different in the anime version.

Also, I heard that the first 20 minutes of XV2 features Bardock? I knew it, for his role to be bigger and a major one, he needs to be the first one to appear. I'm trying not to watch it, as I want to be impressed while playing but I don't know if I'll resist long enough.

I would use all those characters, I'm sure others would too. It's not just about playing as the character though, it's about getting to fight them as well. I'm sick of fighting the same villains every game.

Also I'm pretty sure even you would want King Cold in the game.

Hmm...yeah, I'm kinda hoping he gets better direction in Super proper as well. I can hear exactly what Schemmel should do for Black (basically his Goku voice but without thee usual goofy fun-loving inflections), and that's not really quite it.

As for the roster: I'm not really disappointed, i think the majority of the best fighters are already in the game. I just hope Dimps will blow us away, when they reveal which other characteres will be available through DLC.

Indeed, Goku Black sounds weird... it's like if Sean was trying to do Nova Shenron's voice. But I'm sure he'll sound better in Super, he'll have to say more words at a faster rate and he would need to update his voice I guess.

I don't see why that should matter. I see people all the time ask about the GT characters. I don't like GT either but I'd rather have them than not and they always seem to be pretty popular.

Exactly, also by having some of these characters you can get more out of the story too. Adding in the likes of Aka and Chilled would allow the game to cover the Yo Son Goku and Episode of Bardock stories which has never been done.

So, I've seen a video with Goku Black's English voice and from what I can hear, which is hard cause everything besides the voice are loud as all hell, he sounds like an even gruffer SS4 Goku.

There's no shortage of new characters to put in the game if they really wanted to. It's what make it so frustrating to see how few new characters there actually are.

Some people might say "who cares about "X"" but if they've got Appule and Raspberry in there then anything goes.

There's a load of the movie henchmen that they haven't had.

The Grand, East, North and West Supreme Kai's and Kibito.

The members of Bardock's crew and Gine.

Avo, Cado and Aka.

Olibu and the other Otherworld fighters.

The other 4 Shadow Dragons.

Plus the ones I mentioned earlier and if they can have hypothetical characters like SSJ3 Broly and SSJ3 Bardock then why couldn't they have SSJ4 Gohan or SSJB Broly.
