Youtube doesn't go around manually taking down videos, they do it automatically.Sun_Wukong wrote:Yeah if anyone takes it down it'll be Toei.Aukon wrote:I don't think they can, this is content from Japan and for the Japanese viewers.EricM wrote:Better enjoy these before funimation gets them taken down!
They took down the Playdia footage. The most random thing, and they could never lose money from it, but they got it taken down.Aukon wrote:I don't think they can, this is content from Japan and for the Japanese viewers.EricM wrote:Better enjoy these before funimation gets them taken down!

It's Japanese content, but FUNimation is the license holder for DragonBall in North America. Since YouTube's servers are located in North America, FUNimation can request that they remove the video under copyright law.Aukon wrote:I don't think they can, this is content from Japan and for the Japanese viewers.EricM wrote:Better enjoy these before funimation gets them taken down!
If that were true, half the videos on YouTube wouldn't existYoutube doesn't go around manually taking down videos, they do it automatically.

I assure you, they do kill things manually when requested to do so by the copyright holder.
