Black and Zamasu Fusion

Given the latest episode of Super revealing in the NEP that Black and Zamasu fusing, there are quite a few questions that need to asked:
- What do we name the fused character?
- It is possible for the newly fused character to attain another form?
- Do we still refer to the current powered up form the fused character has as Super Saiyan Rose?
- Just how strong is this newly fused character?
- Is this character immortal given it fused with Zamasu? Or the immortality that Zamasu gained cancelled out?
- Last but not least... are Vegeta and Goku going to fuse as a response to this?

We do know one thing for sure... now we know who Toriyama intended to have white hair for in regards to next villain planned after Resurrection F.

What are your thoughts on this plot revelation?

- I'm gonna call him Black Zamasu.

- I don't see why not but I don't expect the character to get any stronger after this. This is gotta be the final result of his power surely.

- I suppose technically he would be using the Rose form wouldn't he? It's not Rose coloured though but then Super Saiyan White isn't a thing either yet.

- If Goku and Vegeta fuse and Black Zamasu is able to hold his own against that for a while then you'd think it'd have to be stronger than Beerus and Whis at this point. Wouldn't SSJB Vegito be as strong as SSJB Goku x SSJB Vegeta? Toriyama wanted Beerus to stay above Goku but he didn't say that for Vegito so maybe he will be stronger.

- It should be cancelled out because the immortality was given to Zamasu and Black Zamasu is a different being.

- Oh yeah absolutely.

It doesn't surprise me that this happened. I predicted they were going to fuse ever since Zamasu showed up alongside Black. They both had Potara earring on, it was always going to be a matter of time before one of them swapped it to another ear.

But he wasn't thinking of Future Trunks Saga until fall of 2015 and he wrote the script for Resurrection F in 2014. Not to mention the whole Champa Saga.

Merged Zamasu, or Zamasu for short.

Probably, if there's anything above Blue. I doubt they're gonna get another form though, this seems pretty final.

- Do we still refer to the current powered up form the fused character has as Super Saiyan Rose?

I'm guessing this will be his default and only form, and we'll just call him by his name or Super Saiyan White if they intend to name it.

- Just how strong is this newly fused character?

Stronger than Beerus, probably. At least I hope so.

- is this character immortal given it fused with Zamasu? Or the immortality that Zamasu gained cancelled out?

He should be. It'd be weak writing if he wasn't immortal.

- Last but not least... are Vegeta and Goku going to fuse as response to this?

Gowasu's presence seems to indicate that, yes.

What are your thoughts on this plot revelation?

I like the concept as it brings something fresh to an arc that was getting kind of repetitive but I have to see how it's executed first.

1) Supreme God Zamasu (based on the next episodes title)

2) Possibly but I think that would be overkill.

3) As Old Kai said, if Goku had fused as an SS3 the fusion would never be able to power down. That implies that whatever transfomed state the fusee is in will become a permanent aspect of the resulting fusion. So if Black fused as a SSR then SSR is already a part of this beings form.

4) VERY....WITH A SCARY LEVEL OF POTENTIAL TO GROW EVEN MORE POWERFUL!

5) Unknown...But given our heroes luck so far, I'd say yes this Supreme God is very much immortal!

Someone in the episode 63 thread is calling the fusion of Zamasu and Goku Black as, "Zack."

It's either going to be Merged Zamasu or Black Zamasu, or maybe God Zamasu.
I doubt this character will have a transformation since he has his Super Saiyan hair.
I thought it was unique to see what the fusion would be like with 2 different races!
Goku and Vegeta will probably use our Kaioshin's Potara's to fuse or maybe Gowasu's, since I'm guessing you have to weaken him to seal him.
I think the fusion isn't treated as Super Saiyan Rose since it's not Rose colored anymore.
I think he is now immortal and has Black's strength.

Someone is going inside that jar, Trunks isnt going to glue it back together for no reason. I feel like, Goku and Vegeta may attempt to fuse but TrueMasu wont let that happen and thus some type of crazy Diversion is gonna need to happen where Gowasu probably occupies them time while Goku sets up the Mafuba.

Or they just may fuse but given that TrueMasu most likely will not only have immortality but constant strength gains as well, he STILL may overwhelm BlueGetto, thus leading the Mafuba still being the final answer.

Zamasu Black seems like an appropriate name for him. There's other possibilities though like Zamaku, Zamoku, Gomasu, Black Zamasu.

Looks like the Fusion is starting out with white hair and a new aura. I don't think he'll have a new form since it looks like Goku Black is going to be in SsjR when they fuse. I just assume his max power will be in this "base form".

I'm not too sure about that one. Super Saiyan White could end up being its official name. I'd rather they just say he has the power of Super Saiyan Rose without the need of a transformation. The name "SsjR" has some nice symbolism to it that I really like, so I'd rather not change it.

If it's normal Potara fusion then he's going to be ridiculously strong. There's two scenarios I can think of. A) Zamasu fusing with Zamasu from a different timeline will result in a "Perfect Fusion" thus giving him a bigger boost than a normal Potara fusion. B) Goku and Vegeta forming Vegetto was said to be an extra powerful Potara fusion because they were polar opposites. This could mean that Zamasu/Black would get a smaller boost since his Fusees are nearly identical.
Either way I can't see a fusion of such powerful characters be weaker than Beerus.

I hope they go all out with the Fusion's abilities. I hope he gets attacks like the Kamehahema, Ki Blade/Projectile Ki Blade/Scythe, and a couple of new ones. Might as well throw in Zamasu's Immortality AND Goku Black's power adaptation while they're at it!

The power scaling right now from top to bottom is Vegeta-Trunks-Goku right? Or did Goku just get a zenkai boost from nearly being killed by Black? Either way I have a feeling that if the trio attack "Zamasu Black", it isn't going to be enough to beat him. Mafuba just seems like too anticlimactic of an ending for me to even consider. Beerus really seemed to want a crack at Black, and I hope he gets a shot only to be taken down. (A man can dream) Vegetto or Gogeta seems like the best shot at winning and I sure hope it happens. This villain deserves to face Vegetto.

Ideally, I hope one of two things happen now:

A. Vegito fights Zamasu and dominates him, only for Zamasu to keep coming back stronger because of Black's ability and the fact that he's immortal. If the mafuba is going to be used, Vegito should be the one to do it... dramatically.

B. Goku pushes the Zeno button. Sure, it may be anticlimactic, but the interaction between Zeno and Zamasu is something I'd love to see.

What I kind of hoped would have happened prior to these events:
- Trunks being the one to learn the Mafuba and sealing Zamasu, with the humans taking the jar far away from the battlefield.
- Goku and Vegeta finally doing what Whis tried to teach them: fighting SSJR Black together.
- Goku and Vegeta stalemating with Black and forced back to the past somehow, but not before transferring some energy to a beaten Trunks.
- Trunks getting soundly beaten by Black before Black accuses him of being a sinner like he did in episode 61.
- Trunks snapping and getting the same form he got in episode 61, only now the explanation being that he's managed to channel the god ki transferred to him.

- I don't care what would have happened afterwards.
