I have a feeling we'll have Super Saiyan White because of Zamasu's white hair.

"Base" Merged Zamasu already have white hair, his Super Saiyan form would have minimal change if that is the case.

I wonder if the merged Zamasu is the white haired villain Toriyama was talking about. If he looks like SSJ Goku with white hair, it would be confusing with a SSJ White form as well.

Toriyama never said that there would be a white-haired villain, he said that a hypothetical SS White would clash with the design of a future antagonist. He was most likely referring to Goku Black or Zamasu.

It would not make much sense to say next villain, when he could have just said.
I always thought that since he first made that comment in an interview after he had already finished writing the Trunks arc, that it was talking about a future villain, even though Toriyama should know it did not make sense. I always just took it as a hint our next villain would have white hair and lo and behold he does. If that is a coincidence well what can you do.

Yes. I don't even know why this was a debate. Toriyama never plans ahead let alone for a story he didn't know he was going to write (with him being egged on by Toei and all for this arc).

I forgot the "special technique" was supposed to appear in this episode. Oh well, I guess the summary was referring to the glue after all .
