I'm the same way when I read the manga.

As am I, naturally. I can't read english words in with the voice of a woman speaking in japanese. I hear the Funi VAs..

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

I always prefered Sabats acting as Vegeta in that scene, since I never did like Drummonds Vegeta voice very much since it was always raspy and very low toned.

I'm getting there. I read the manga in Japanese currently and on a page with a decent amount of dialouge I can usually tell what the conversation is about due to a few words I recognize from Japanese class and from the pictures that go along with them. Other than that it's just knowing the story from seeing and reading Dragonball Z so many times that makes me not need subtitles.

As for the video clip, I still like the Ocean dub better and I'll almost always find it to be the superior English dub. I've grown used to the FUNi cast, though, and when given no toehr option I can watch dubbed Dragonball Z without getting so angry that I have to watch it in Japanese to keep my hair from turning blonde.

Given the choice, though, I'd just watch it in Japanese. If given a more broad choice, I'd just read the manga.
